Eastern Diamondbacks are larger than Western. You have it backwards
Exactly
Seriously.
This reminds me of when my family and I use to visit my cousins and aunt in Woodson Texas. On one of the visits in 87' (I had just turned 10 the previous Dec.) I was helping my dad, uncle in-law and some of their friends clear out some of their property. I lifted a piece of that corrugated sheet metal and there was this fat Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. Luckily it was on the other end about 7 ft away. It curled up amd started rattling vigorously. This next part may make some folks mad, but one of the adults went and got a gun, the ended up shooting it, then measured it and it was 6'4" long. With it stretched out, they placed a baseball and a softball next to it and the snake had the same circumference as the softball. I will never forget that day. Just to add a little more about those trips/visits, when we would fall asleep, there were many times we'd wake up the next morning with a scorpion or two in bed with one or more of us. Talk about getting shivers! We always checked and shook out our shoes and clothes. #countrylivin
Occassionally you will find eroneous information posted as if it is factual, researched information. Such is the case below, in my opinion.
Where are the eastern diamondbacks located in the USA.
Sure looks like a western diamondback to me.
Eastern Diamondbacks are larger*
Man get your facts straight none of the snakes are aggressive. They defend themselves when they feel the need to but biting and striking is a last resort. Plus the rattles can get big regardless. If given the opportunity they will choose to flee from us, they aren't aggressive they are actually very scared of us!
When this guy said Western Diamonbacks were larger than Easterns i cut it off....useless false information
One tthsy are both Diamondback rattlesnakes not Diamond rattlesnake 2 the eastern Diamond back is larger than the western the eastern Diamondback is the largest rattlesnake im america and ranges from Florida the carolinas all the way to parts of Louisiana also the Eastern Diamondback does have a large rattle also Eastern Diamondbacks are more aggressive than the western and will strike quicker than a western Diamondback will so before you do a video on both snakes research them also the eastern Diamondback is the darker one the lighter one is the Western Diamondback
