    Haha, she pranked you 😅
    She will pop soon for sure!
    I think you should just look for active labor and just lock your sheep at night bc if labor will be at night or will last long (like complicated case) baby and mama will be safe from cold.
    I'm from region that is famous for having sheeps and we do it like that 😊

      Well this is the LONGEST prank I've ever seen an animal pull! 😂 She still hasn't popped! I think she's waiting for me to stop checking on her multiple times a day. I'm ready to put her in the stall at the first sign of active labor though! Thanks for watching!!

    I noticed that Amy seems to have a lump on the left side of her jaw. I hope she is okay. Don't know if I missed you say something about it before. I love the old fashioned names of Esther, Olivia, and Cordelia, Ursulla, and Josephine.

      Such cute names! I love those!!
      And good eye - she does! Amy has had that lump on her cheek since we got her at 5 days old. We had our vet out to look at it, and apparently she has a blocked (or slow draining) salivary gland on that side. They are fairly common in goats, and it doesn't cause her any discomfort (that we can tell) and doesn't affect her eating, so we just leave it alone. Thanks for watching!!

      @@NewDayFamilyFarm Interesting to learn that about Amy and that it is common in goats. Thanks for teaching me that! We had a dog with a blocked salivary gland as well. The surgeon told us to leave it alone as well because it wasn't hurting her.

    Sister u pliz help me ..i am from india Nagaland phek district .i starting my pig farm but can't detect she is pregnant or nt .i am searching the pregnancy kit but it not available in my country so pliz show me how i will get.

    • @NewDayFamilyFarm
      @NewDayFamilyFarm  Місяць тому

      Hello! In my experience, pigs get pregnant very easily. So if she has been with the boar for at least 3 weeks, she is probably pregnant. If she is not, 3 weeks after her last cycle she will cycle again. If you don't see any signs of a heat cycle, it means she is pregnant! Good luck!!
