Worked hard on this Pikes Peaks Marathon vlog, would appreciate it if you gave it a little loving share to your circles of people around the globe 🌍, let’s spread some DGR inspiration and love today on the internet ❤️ Pikes Peak Marathon Vlog published 💪🏼💻 📱 🌐
This is certainly a running vlog...but its so much more than a running vlog. The truth in the value that is offered is an opportunity for the viewer to reach for a peak in whatever discipline is chosen; whether it's running, writing a book, studying for a degree or being the best employee for a business; its being our best version. The lessons in discipline, humility, perseverance, adoration...there is no boundary for what you teach. Thank you so much for being a positive role model for all of us. Sure, you are just a "normal" guy but you're showing us what normal guys & girls can do when we truly fall in love with the process and give our whole heart to it. Love you, Seth. Keep showing up and we'll meet you there. Congratulations!
The way you inspire people, both young and old, fast and slow, brings tears to my eyes. Thanks for your kindness and encouragement to the running community, Seth! Well deserved W!
Seth, You are such an inspiration to me. I sent this to my co-workers. I signed up for my first 50k. Everything about you is what I want to be when I grow up and we are practically the same age. Keep on keeping on
Seth is so amazing to see you interact with all the fans of DGR after your race. It’s so rare to see internet celebrities interact with fans face to face. “I’m just a normal guy” as you say but you have inspired so many, helped so many aspiring runners and helped people who have been runners for most of their lives (myself in that group). So awesome to see you take the win and then directly after the race see your family and then hanging with fans of the DGR Family! You truly are an awesome sort and it’s awesome to see you live and breathe what you say “Seek Beauty, Work Hard, and Love Each Other” well done
: The celebration with your family after the race put a smile on my face and nearly brought tears to my eyes. Your family is amazing, and I love the devotion you and TL have to each other! As for my next peak race, I'm running the Stilly Half in Stillwater, Okla., on Nov. 6. I'm hoping all this running in the hot and humid Oklahoma summer will pay off with a massive PR in the winter. I'm also toying with running my first full a few weeks later in Tulsa at the Route 66 Marathon, though this would be more of an experimental joy run than a race effort.
Congratulations on flying the W on the Pikes Peak. Not only setting the bar high on the mountain but also with the high standard of this mini movie. Hopefully you can sit back with a European Beer and enjoy your work. Onwards and upwards to your next training block/ race. DGR will be watching and supporting.
Watching this video 5 days later and this just bring lots of smile on my face. Happy that you crushed and defended your title Seth. Keep turning the door knob, hell ya!
You not only inspire me and thousands more, equally important is the example you set for those of us wanting to be better people. Congratulations on the well-earned victory!
Massive congrats on the W and keeping the KOM crown for the 2nd year in a row! Victories are never deserved, but certainly earned … and you most definitely put in the work to earn this one. The look on your face when you sat in the car by the post office and had a moment to let it all sink in said it all. Bask in this one, and recover well! QOD: My next peak race is the Franklin Mountains 50K in El Paso in early November. Started my 12 week training block this week and my goal for this one is to be consistent in my training, keep focus on daily mobility work throughout the block and finish the race injury-free. Will focus on turning that doorknob everyday and enjoy getting that work in!
Are you some kind of a superhuman? Hahaha not for the amazing consecutive “W” but for never missing a vlog and raising a loving family and sharing every “pro runner secret” even on race morning…very happy that sometimes good things happen to good people who work their butts off. Chapeaux Seth! QOD: Next peak race? The one you did in Argentina 🇦🇷 (Villa La Angostura) on November 6th. Kind of my first also 💪🏽
Seth, your videos are always great quality, but this one in particular asi straight up amazing. Great choice of music, great vibes and most importantly - fantastic achievement. Thank you for all your work and care youve put into this, DGR strong!
I LOVE this video, because it captures more than just your incredible win, but our incredible community. Congrats on the win, but maybe more so, congrats on everything you've created!!
Agreed, great editing. It's great to see the determination and confidence of someone going for the win, if you weren't aware of his abilities, you'd soon realise what his goal was in the first couple minutes of the vlog. Great achievement.
What a vlog Seth! To see your family and the look of your father being so proud. You got me emotional here this morning!! Taking the time to chat and spend time with fans. You are genuine and it transpires through the lens. A true example of seek beauty, work hard and love each other. QD: preparing for my first 50 miler in early October, Bromont Ultra.
Several years I'm watchig your vlog and there were so many great videos, stories. This one is a highlight for me, the joy, the love the hard work . It all comes together. Thank you
I think this is the happiest DGR vlog to date. Well done Seth. Your work ethic both running and vlogging is exceptional. I have been running for more than 40 years, my fast days are gone, but you are inspiring me to make every day count. At my upcoming 10k on Saturday I will use this vlog to get me round a few seconds faster. Once again, well done - you deserve it.
Your story, this video brought tears to my eyes, warmth in my heart. You are incredible, and blessed. Your win at Pike’s Peak is more than just a win, but a testament of hard work, discipline, love, and kindness. Thank you for sharing your passion, giving us a glimpse of your life, as you inspire us to be better, to seek beauty, to work hard, and to love each other. I hope all the best for you and your family. ❤️ Congratulations on your win, Seth! Thank you for inspiring us through your vlogs.❤️ QD: NYC Marathon
I don’t think anybody can ever truly.... truly understand what an incredible human you are unless they have participated in this marathon. Watching you float the mountain was so inspiring and your generosity to meet with people after the race absolutely incredible. You inspired me to train harder than I ever could’ve imagined for this event and I did shave off an entire hour from my Ascent time 4 years ago. This was my first time descending the mountain and I cannot even fathom the strength and skill it takes to not only run up the mountain as fast as you did but the float down it in that amount of time is incomprehensible to me. You are an incredible and gifted individual sir please please keep on keeping on and inspiring us to reach new heights. Hope to see you in NYC.
I've been watching your videos for about 2 months. Been getting back into running lately. Never commented though. But i love to see the support from your true love. Thanks for sharing the experience wth us.
What a vlog! You are a super ambassador for the human race Seth. Humility, compassion, dedication to your cause, great family man and all around good guy. You stated in your vlog, I'm just a normal guy, that may be the case but the world would be a much better place with more Seth's!. If this video doesn't inspire people nothing will!. It was awesome to see you acknowledging the peoole that had come to support you, especially the young families who you obviously inspire so much, bloody fantastic work. Qod I'm working towards a fast (for me!) Half marathon in around 6 wks. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention, awesome work on your run, extremely well deserved, onward and upwards👍🏻
This vlog kept me smiling the whole way. Such an awesome insight from all angles. That win is the result of tons of hard work and putting the family first too. Kudos to True Love and the kids.
Seth, I can't even... this is pure and simple beautiful. SO very grateful to everyone for helping make/ film such an amazing day!! And your talent, for putting it all together, for sharing the day with us - we were ALL rooting for you, and SO SO very happy for you!! My next peak race is the Lakefront Milwaukee Marathon in October. My first full marathon, so part of me knows my goal needs to be just to finish. 1) I want to finish feeling WELL (not crawling! lol). 2) I'd really like to hold about a 10:00 / mi pace.... which makes for a 4:22:00 finish, "ish". So, we'll see! All your training tips and the DDGR community help so much, keeping me going and encouraging along the way. I'm both so excited and already so nervous! 🤞🏼🙏
Congratulations on the win Seth! Well deserved. This is the first time I comment on your channel and maybe my first comment on UA-cam. I've been watching your channel consistently since last year. And of course, already watched almost all your previous years videos :) You are truly an inspiration, thank you for all the advice, and for turning that doorknob every day. Blessings to you and your family from Panama 🇵🇦 Best wishes and have a safe trip to Europe. QD My next race is on Sunday, August 29, is a 10k and I have been working to make it under 40 minutes.
"I'm just a normal guy"....Seth, you are so ABOVE a 'normal' guy, you are amazing in every sense! Husband, daddy, son, friend, runner....WE LOVE YOU! Great job! 🤩
I'm not crying... Well maybe a little... What an inspiring person you are Seth... Every sice I started running again and following your channel, I have you words always in my head : "rithm, rithm". GB you & your beautiful family.
Waited until I had watched the vlog in full before commenting. What a phenomenal edit and thanks to all the DGR videographers for getting such an array of clips. Kudos to those who ran behind for POV shots. Much deserved win Seth 💚
When DGR collectively ignores the because we realize? This Vlog ain’t about us, it’s a monument to The Man; Seth James DeMoor! It’s been a slice, baby! Thank you! Head bowed from Daddy and Dewa in Durango🙏🏾❤️
You must feel so incredibly blessed to have this community of followers who care so much to come and chase you up and down a hill. Well done on an incredible win. You’ve earned it through all of your hard work and dedication. I can’t wait to see what’s next. Onwards and upwards.
I needed this vlog so hard. I had one of the worst days of my life and due this video I found back little bit of strength. So much thanks and congratz!
Watched the race live right here on UA-cam and we new you would kill it, but I was blown away by you lead over second place. QD: I have a 10k trail race tune up on my bday 9/11 at the Old Forge racing weekend and my peak race is October 10th for the Boilermaker 15k road race. The goal was to break an hour, but with so many injuries and set backs that I’m being realistic and just shooting for a sub 65 this year.
Sweet, Beautiful, Inspiring Vlog!!! Thanks for bringing us a whole picture of the day, race, and all the folks involved. Your Daily Vlog has inspired us all to go to bed early, get up early, turn that doorknob, and patiently persevere! It was a privilege to share some of your day with your remarkable family. Can’t wait to see UTMB through your eyes!!! Onward and Upward!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You’re awesome, Seth! Thanks you fro all the inspiration and sharing your heart and soul with us. Congratulations on all the hard earned successes! And thank you for the community. Kudos!
Your interaction with that family from LA made me very emotional. Thanks for being a normal guy and making their day! Congratulations on flying that W!!!
Congratulations Seth, you have motivated and moved us all around the world, you have proven that with hard work and dedication anything is possible, this timing is just insanely fast, well done 💪😊
What an incredible vlog! Thank you 🙏🏼 to all who helped put that together and to all who came out to show their support. It was amazing to witness all the love and positivity, warmed my heart. DGR strong! Chasing my first BQ by the end of 2021.👍🏽
This race and this video is just what I needed to see today. After 2 virtual marathons in 2020 and a glass city PR in the spring, I’m just a few shy minutes away from hitting my boson qualifying dream in Pennsylvania this fall. I’ve been running low on motivation and energy these past few weeks and this just brought me back to that high butter bread spirits. Congratulations Seth! Way to keep us moving onward and upward!
Absolutely a testament to hard work, dedication, planning, and support. DGR STRONG. Phenomenal work Seth, thank you for your motivation, inspiration and life goals. Thank you.
First of all, congrats on the win, the pb at the top & just seeing you having fun with family, friends & fans afterwards. Thanks for sharing that, that's what life is about, sharing these moments with friends family. (And I did feel a little as though I won) Next peak race? My first Trail race: 23km, in Nature Park the Veluwe with 400m (!) of elevation. My expected time? Between 6:30-7mins/km (carrying a slight hip injury, after a tumble on some tree roots), So, about 2hrs30-2hrs40. Basically I just want to enjoy this race along the most beautiful parts of the Netherlands, building strength & stamina for the Amsterdam half marathon, where I hope to get a sub 1hr50 pb.
:qod: My peak race this year is September 11th, the Pines & Dunes 100km (in Belgium). I'm aiming to get break 12 hours for the first time. I've been working for this race since early May, working with a coach for the first time. Watching this video has gotten me even more excited for my own race. I never felt more race ready. Thank you for all the inspiration you give so many people.
I just had a baby like four months ago so this year’s ppm was not on the table but watching this gets me motivated for 2022!!!! After I did the ascent in 2019 I vibe always had my eyes on the ppm.
Holy cow, what a vlog this one is. The race segment (5-12mins) was some of the most emotional footage I've seen on the channel. Watching you approach that finish line was incredibly moving - not because you won a race but because we've seen all the hard work and sacrifices you've made to get to that finish line. How you manage to challenge the world's elite runners for podium places AND be some a gifted videographer and editor is beyond me. That's a broadcast quality episode today. Simply brilliant.
What a victory, in many aspects! The proundness in TL’s eyes is amazing and deserved. QD: aged 44, father of 2, training for my first marathon in Paris in October, working on 3:30, your work DOES motivate my work. Gratitude from France 🇫🇷
Congratulations Seth! 1. On the performance on Sunday and the entire training block. Looks like the taper worked to perfection and the legs came through at exactly the right time. 2. The blog. Won't pretend and I was a little disappointed yesterday to see a shoe review but clearly for the right reasons and the race blog was fantastic and in my mind the best one yet. Ps. I'm glad the camera stopped rolling when they did.... ;)

Wow! Well worth taking your time to edit & not rushing it into yesterday’s vlog
Congrats Seth! Way to defend your title
I completely forgot about the Olympic marathon but was checking the updates on this at the tip. Again amazing.

I've been working for this race since early May, working with a coach for the first time. Watching this video has gotten me even more excited for my own race. I never felt more race ready. Thank you for all the inspiration you give so many people.
Inspirational! Really well produced!
God bless!
I just had a baby like four months ago so this year’s ppm was not on the table but watching this gets me motivated for 2022!!!! After I did the ascent in 2019 I vibe always had my eyes on the ppm.
Congrats!! You guys are the sweetest!!💪🏻🏃♂️🤗
Amazing Seth! It’s incredible how you inspire so much people!
Well done Seth ..... hard work pays
Congrats Seth here from Austria!!!!
I bet you can’t wait until you boys can run with you! So many life lessons learned from running
Ps. I'm glad the camera stopped rolling when they did.... ;)
