I’m 15 and I also have microtia. Up until now I kinda avoided this subject and researching about it, but last year I started getting my surgeries and I currently have one more left. It feels good to find people that can truly understand you and it feels good to know that you’re not the only one going through this.
I have Microtia, but I never had an issue building a social life. In fact, I have other issues that brought me more insecurity into my self-esteem. I never thought my life was difficult because of my ear. Growing up, I was cocky and even rude to others. Fellow microtians, 99 percent of people don't give a shit about your ear.

I do have a asymmetrical jawline and stuff but people don't really notice it? It's only when I tell them my lips don' 't move completely the same or my Jaws aren't symmetrical they notice. I was scared no one would love me because of my little ear. But actually lot' s of people find me cute and it took me by surprise because I have a low self image. I'm still learning and trying to boost my confidence, but it's nice to know you're not alone. ✨🙏

in hgischool i got somewhat alot of pussy, i have microtia on both sides, no deformity their just very small, like shcokingly small lol, so, now im 24, and there are times that girls will think im cute, but when they get closer to me and see my ears, they get disgusted and turned off, it does happen, it sucks, but their are other girls that dont mind them, one told me they were cute, so yeah , im in the process of growing my hair , th e more hair i have the less my ears stand out, planning to get dreads soon too which will cover my ears complelty, so their is hope my friend ,
