Thank you for creating the video. I enjoyed learning tons of new techniques. I'm a beginner needle feltinger ... very addictive ... can't stop felting and watching videos.
I also use a toothbrush for fur or feather combing, and an iron to press feathers, I love the hair straightener idea, saves space! this is a great video and you are such an inspiring artist
Thank you so much for being so kind to give me some feedback. I'm so pleased you find the tools useful too. What are you making at the moment? so great to hear from you :-)
Thank god Iv found a fantastic felted who goes through every thing bit by bit !! You are amazing to some one who as just started felting.. I was just about to give up as could not find the perfect teacher.. keep up the great work, will be creating along side of you 😀
Your videos are always so helpful. When using the wax I was wondering if there was a problem with it softening later on after being used for a nose, claw, etc.
Great amount of really useful tips and tricks. I'm off to buy a cheap hair straightener. Which claw method do you prefer the beewax balm, or the air dry clay? I've dipped wool claws in melted beeswax, which also gives a realistic paw pad with grip.
Thank you! So pleased you liked it. To ne honest I'm torn between the two. I think I prefer to stay with as much wool as possible so prefer to use wax. However if using a wire frame for feet like with the bird then the clay is really easy to add on. 😊
Thank you for these tips especially the hair straighteners will be off to look round the charity shops in the next few weeks. The tools I return to time and again are a skewer and a cocktail stick.
your videos are really Amazing and packed with so much info thank you ...my creatures I make are normally bit cartoon and only 8-10 cm max thank you ever so much for sharing . Happy felting
.I wish I had measurements of the letter opener. I would love to make myself one because I can't get it here in USA. 1) How long is the handle? 2) How long is the wide part? 3) How thick is the wood? 4) How long is the pointed part?
