Oooh nice! I never walk away from a video of yours without learning something. I never thought about basslines with pitch bends, to be honest, I'm usually a "the notes or internal modulation (e.g. FM, LFO to env., etc.) will do the trick" kinda person. This gives me a new perspective.
Thank you so much! Would love to see a tutorial on a full groove techno track in the style of Rene Wise & Marcal from you, this seems to be going in that direction :)
@Audioreakt I'm on my third release. I've just filled in a bio for the new label and cited you and Julien Earle as influences. I honestly couldn't have gotten this far without your tuition and hard work. Your Techno preset packs are not matched by anyone and are worth every penny. Thanks so much 🙏
Thanks! and congrats on the Raw Techno 2 release...I'm looking for drum tools so is RT2 more bang for a buck in quality wise or just different content than RT1?
thanks, you have more drums and drums loops in the raw techno 2, soundwise it's a matter of taste if you prefer the 1 or 2. open two tab and compare the description of both I always put the detail of the pack
I use my TD3 Mo only for my basslines. IFor me there is no better bass synth than the TD3 Mo. When I have found a bass line, I sample it and process it further. Thats my workflow for basslines
yes I tihnk the 303 and 101 are the two godlike machine for bass lin e , altough moog is pretty good for that too, the taurus or sub37 or even DFAM actually
@@audioreakt when you have the modified version of the 303 or TD3, you can get so cool, groovy and heavy basslines. I love it so much. I mean for basslines not for Acidleads
hey Paul, i bought your Raw2 samples and there are no midi files other than the subs. great pack but i loved you always included the midis. just letting u know. thanks
Hey, yes I know, most sound were recorded with sequencer from my modular and couldn't get the midi from it... But I am planning to do a ableton bank for raw techno where it will be all the midis
the thing is with techno and especially low end , I found it better to be ''louder'' than usual as it is often easier to hear the difference or even feel it, hence why the music is way louder compare to the voice... think about it the other way around where I put the music and voice on a similar level, you might need to turn up the volume when the music is playing to hear/feel better how the low end is changing or how it affect the lowend in the video...
i always learn something new everytime i watch your videos . brother you are a legend
thanks, always try to bring something new !

yeah env and lfo is great to add that pitch movement, you can play with the glide as well... so many way that can generate so many ides indeed !...

Yes if you take that and add some time and perc like bongo, conga and so on you might get something similar

This is a game changer
Thanks mate, glad you think so!
Just wandering if using both rumble and low baseline in a track may cause problems or be unnecessary for the purpose
Thanks man!

Never knew about that note expression tab, and I hate the way the other pitch bend control works. Thanks.
yeah soemtime its annoying indeed

Hey! how do you set the Value by the Midi Modulation Matrix? Best Regards
what do you mean ? do you mean this : try to click on the matrix case you want, hold and drag up or down
Are there any rules to follow to make a bassline work everytime? Talking about the lenght and placement of the notes.
not really to be honest, you have some pattern that work better that other though or let's say are more common more used.
Do you stick to the key of the track when using the pitch envelope or do you just go with sounds good?
I would said by eat but if something seems off I will check the key of the track. But for the style I am producing I like when it's a bit out of tune
@@audioreakt cheers for the reply mate
my pitch bend does not bend far enough any solution?
On most of the device/vst you have a parameter where you can adjust the length of the pitch bend, it's in semitones (st)

@@audioreakt i mean the characteristic of techno is to be static otherwise labeling is false but labeling is anyways difficult in music

Yet another victim of the "can't equalize mic to music audio volume" syndrome.
