I couldn't get enough of Stranded Deep it was that good. It's such a peaceful survival game for people to unwind and detox from their work. I wanted Stranded Deep 2 so this is close enough. BTW, got another survival game called Sunkenland that's based off the movie Waterworld.
I actually installed Stranded Deep, and Green Hell, and decided to start Green Hell first just to mix it up. I will start Stranded Deep soon and really am looking forward to it. I also have seen Sunkenland game play and would really enjoy that one, I just don’t own it yet!😀 Soon, Soon.
I hope you will eventually be able to grow a limited amount of foods and sail a proper boat. The fibre thing needs to be addressed asap though! Lemongrass stem is lovely with fish but you can’t fish atm which seems a weird oversight! No doubt it’s planned for later down the line.
Yes I agree, the devs just allowed us to play early but it is still in beta and has a long way to go. Think of this as a sneak peak at what it coming, not the finished project 😉
Would be cool if game devs built their games as a series of relevant job simulators composing one game. Notice players enjoy it. Example: build an in, be a bartender or manager. Each position being a job simulator yet one game. Imagine if many jobs were added, would be like real-life as the jobs become more intricate in each update.

And you CAN build your base on your boat...kinda the whole object. Less of the dangerous wildlife aspect, but more of the chill build & explore.
