imma be real idk what the heck some of these things are, but seeing you put em together and explain along the way is teaching me. love any bits shiny enough to see yourself on ✨️😍
Bro, when I started researching k swaps, it was a whole world of new knowledge! It was super overwhelming but also exciting at the same time, I'll work on explaining all the parts I'm using so you guys can learn too :D
I am in top of all your videos when they come out now, you’ve taught me so much through all your videos, contributed so much to my interests in preludes since I first got one. This k swap series is the best because I’ve been dying to do so forever, now one of my favorite creators is doing it. So stoked, keep pushing brotha. Can’t wait to see this monster run.
Thanks for stickin with me since the beginning! I hope you can attempt this swap yourself someday, I’m trying to share as much information as possible to save you guys the time and research 😆 I hope I can get her running soon!
For anyone wanting to build a K series aswell.... From what i read the K20 waterpump flows better. IF you swap your K20 or K24 waterpump for the K20 waterpump, be sure to use the K20 alternator aswell! I found out the hard way, but the K24 alternator doesnt fit all the way on the K20 waterpump housing.
@@Rawrkee The K20 waterpump has the L pipe for the oil cooler, yes. Dont think the fuel filter needs cooling haha. My K24A3 has it aswell. But its ok! The K24 waterpump flows well enough. And i think the biggest thing was the outlet for the oil cooler. I dont think you`ll run into problems unless you want to make a 1000HP, 9000 RPM monster :P. Also, a tip if you want to make more power, a K20A2 cilinder head should increase power quite a bit. Though they cost alot...
Ahh I see, thanks for the tips bro! When you say flow better, do you also mean burping the system is much easier too? I've burped the coolant on the civic a few times and it was no fun. I'm thinking about getting one of those swirl pots from Tractuff hahah @@asbuster2191
K is in da bay let’s have a good day !!! That should be on a t shirt brotha haha much luv man from la finikera aka Phoenix Az !! I don’t even have a lude nor a k series but I’ve always thought about this idea. Keep it up man, the klude is coming along nice
Yesssir!!! Been watching since you lived in the Carolina’s bro. Ive always wanted a kswapped prelude, but St. Louis don’t got any decent ludes. I got me a 08 tsx right now and the k24a2 is a hella good motor, mine doesn’t burn or leak oil so I’m happy about that. Used to have a 04 6 speed tsx but sadly that one got totaled
Mainly because the positioning of the upper radiator port. At its current location, it’d point straight at the intake manifold, on the k series, it needs to be on the driver side. Plus I just wanted something nice and shiny to compliment the bay 😆
Welcome to the Honda world 😆 There isn’t a specific place I bought all the parts, I simply got all the OEM part numbers and compared them on different websites. Surprisingly, some parts were cheaper on Amazon. I noticed that was only true when it was from a seller in Japan and so the part would probably take a week to get delivered. Be sure to check eBay too, sometimes you’ll find a good deal but double check the description and the seller’s profile to make sure it’s a legit OEM part. If it’s too good to be true, it just might be. Good luck with the swap!
I want to know how the fan switch is wired.. I have an rsx fan switch, I know that the pink wire on conversion harness is the fan control, but just confused on how the conversion harness connects to prelude fan relay/rad fan wires
Can’t wait til it’s all done
Love you for this entire series
Make it happen too bro!

Ahhh man, I wish I knew that beforehand 😫😫😫 I think the k20 housing also has a port for the fuel filter cooler. On the 8th gen civic at least

You'll have to pick up a prelude someday and do the swap too hahahah
Can wait
yeahhhh man, hopefully she'll be up and running soon!
9:27. When's the mixtape? 😂
Love it bro! I have learned a lot with your videos!
The k20 and Honda prelude knock sensor are the same
What!? I should’ve kept my knock sensor when I sold the engine 🤣😆🤣
Thanks again, very helpful
why upgrade the radiator? i mean it's awesome but the stock rad is pretty stout too

quick question where did you buy most of your oem parts? about to K Swap an mr2 and im new to the honda world

Awesome dedication to your build..... How reliable is the prelude?
@@lourock9702 she’s running great, I just needa put AC in it haha
Looks so beefy! I have the Mishimoto in mine. How do you think this compares? Looks to bne roughly the same size.

I miss my lude 😢
get a rhd one next!
Why that background music cursing ?
it's art ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are you still selling t-shirts with your prelude logo? How much is the cost and what colors?
lol If I lived in texas I'd be bringing my 3000gt vr4 to chill with the red honda homie and help him get this build. haha.
denggg bro, that would be awesome! Maybe we could link up at some big car meet someday!
Where did you buy those kinds of headlights with that black background?? I have the normal ones with the black background... send me link please..
head lights are custom made, you can look into how to retrofit headlights
@@Rawrkee thanks....
