This performance is part of BIGBANG concert in 2010, and this was his solo part.
This song was dedicated to his ex GF before debut, she "let him go" to become an idol.
Wow! To know all of this really enriches the experience. This song was beautiful, and you could tell that he was fully immersed in the performance. It seriously left a deep impression on us both.

This song is very important and personnel for TOP. He composed the song with Brave Brothers and even wrote the lyrics himself. Like everyone have mention in the comment it was for his ex girlfriend. You can see the sadness in him everytime he performed this song. There is another version of performanced where it is more intensed and hurtful to watch.

Omg! That harmonica was everything! I've been in love with the harmonica since I was a child Because it's played quite a bit here in the Southern U.S. in traditional bluegrass and some jazz music, it reminds me of home. When the camera panned, and TOP was suddenly playing it, I seriously fell in love. That entire performance was breathtaking. 😍 Wow! Tons of love and hugs to you! 🥰💕😘

please check out the other performance of him of this song. its really intense!!!😢 anyway bigbang concert in 2016 he said that was the last time he performed this song.. and maybe VIP thought its because his ex will getting married that time.. that was painful for him of course especially when he performed this in anniversary concert with no signal in the background and he sang this in the backstage. we didnt see him but his voice just enough for the fans to know that he was having a hard time singing this. the feeling is so real!!!!

I know others have already shared some of the background on the song - and told you who the female voice is (she was a YG trainee who's since left the company I think). Interesting story: this song was released in 2007, and he's changed it almost every time he's performed it annually since. In 2009, he added in an entire verse - one of my favorite parts of the song - with the super intense flow and some of my favorite lyrics he's written actually (yep, an entire section - it was re-released on the CD for their 2009 Big Show concert as a remix). The harmonica was added in 2010, and this was my absolute FAVORITE performance of the song by him. He stopped performing it after that year, I think (according to rumors, because his girlfriend had gotten married and out of respect for her). But he brought it back adjusted - with a guitar solo featuring their live band member, Justin absolutely SLAYING it - for their 10th anniversary concert as an opening segment into Doom Dada; with well... I hope you'll get to see how he changed it then. ;) All in all, though, it is ABSOLUTELY my favorite solo song from him so far.
Of note, I'm not sure if anyone else has already recommended it, but although he doesn't have THAT many solo songs, the other one of his that he's performed live is "Oh Mom" on a tv show. If you can find it... there always seems to be a story associated with it, but basically - that song was written for a fan sick and being treated for cancer. (The internet spreads two different stories about it, but I choose to go with the one where she's recuperated now and is thankfully in remission.)

As for the other members, Daesung has a lot of REALLY GOOD Japanese solos actually that not many people react to - sadly - but if I could recommend a few? My favorites are Rainy Rainy and Utautai no Ballad (older) and I Love You as well as Shut Up (basically all of them honestly), and from his newer ones would be A Ze Cho. :)
