Up throw kills, landing nair is great for combos, standing down tilt is also great for combos, down smash and down throw can put people on platforms. Thanks for the great vid Poppt1
Standing D-Tilt is SO SLOW though (frame 16 to be precise). His Crouching Down Tilt is way better, coming out twice as fast, way less laggy, and it leads into grab or Tsunami Kick 1, which both lead into EWGF.
Oh the taunts are moves? I wish they'd enable taunts online. I hate toxicity, but at least taunts are in-character and more fun than some-one teabagging repeatedly.
I know that feel. I have characters who are around 2-6 mil range. I dislike the amount that I lose compared to the winner's gain. It seems so... unbalanced. Even if you're a 2 mil then you get matched up with a guy who has something like 4 mil. And imo, as a wise child once said, "I don't like where this is going."
@@TheAnnoyingJerk Yeah, the other day I was slowly climbing and then I lost one match and lost over a mil and just turned off the game It's absurdly discouraging I guess the idea is you just have to become a good enough player to never lose outside of elite smash

"His name, like, flashes in the bottom right when he gets the win. That must be from Tekken." That's just his Rage mechanic, which I like to call the "Twinkle Bar"...
Just watch the Sakurai presents. You’ll know basically every thing about every move. For example,➡️➡️A is a ridiculously powerful reflector kick and you can tap up ↗️A four times to do a for hit kick combo. And if you have “red rage” grabbing, using ⬇️B, or (electric) wind god fist (➡️⬇️↘️A) will make you do the grab similar that made you SD (Rage Dive) which is stronger only by using the shoryuken inputs. As for a combo, you can try down tilt in to up tilt then 4 times ↗️A. I haven’t tested it yet though...
Kazuya combos (All of these are for low percent) (All nairs spike) Nair + fair + up air + up air or fair Nair + fair + fair + f tilt (haven't tested yet) Nair + fair + fair + 10 hit combo Down throw + forward up tilt (4 spin kicks) Don't think any of these are true, especially not with DI involved, but they're still pretty cool
The reason you suplexed that Gold opponent into the blast line instead of the special grab (Gates Of Hell) is because you were in rage, which is sorta similar to Terry’s GO! Meter. When in Rage, which is after 100%, you can grab, ⬇️-Special, or ➡️⬇️↘️🅰️ to do that suplex, which is already a very powered-up version of his normal ⬇️-Special. You have to make the most of your grabs, though, because you auto-exit Rage if you miss too many Rage Drives or take too much damage. When not in Rage, ➡️⬇️↘️🅰️ results in what you did when you were trying to ⬇️-Tilt; Wind God Fist if you press 🅰️; Dragon Uppercut if you hold 🅰️. (Also, I feel like you haven’t yet seen Kazuya’s overview trailer; watch that for more info)

Gg’s i was the Pokémon trainer that u played against, i was so happy to match with u, it was unbelievably fun. If it makes u feel better I’m normally in elite smash, but i lost like 5 times in a row to little z the other day :P
A tip for Kazuya, his down throw and diagonal tilt attacks are good for starting combos. Down smash and the second hit of his his tsunami kick, diagonal down forward AA, deal a lot of shield damage. Oh and when you get to 100% damage you’ll enter rage mode, rage mode gives you a damage buff (1.1 I think buts he’s a heavy hitter) and his throws, dragon punch, down special, and command throw become the same face slam with extra power. Rage mode will last until you take too much damage, miss three throws, or land the special throw; it’s a one time thing per stock and it deals a lot of damage if you get the opponent stuck in a combo.
If you input sureyoucan you do a dash that doge some projectiles (like hadoken) and if you press the attack button at the end you do a dragon uppercut, if you press special button instead you get spinning demon to left hook, a God combo is crouch and while crouching do 3 jubs into the 10 hit combo and it's true, you can do 3 crouch jub into forward tilt. if you input sureyoucan and holding the attack/special button you do a stronger down b, if you move the movement stick twice forward and than press a twice you do a kick that reflect projectiles and eat shields, if you crouch, stand up and press the attack button in the perfect time you do a punch that shock people, if you hold the movement joystick angeld down and backpress the attack button you do a kick that slips people, if you hold the joystick angeld up and forward and press 4 times the attack button its a easy combo. Hope I help you, I love your content and hope you'll have a nice day (:

If you want to learn to combo with Kazuya you'll need to learn his moves that initiate stun or crumple effects. You can crumple with Devil Fist (side b) and Demon God Fist (A while rising from a crouch). You'll also definitely want to get used to using Stature Smash for the guaranteed trips and Electric Wind God Fist, his best combo starter. He has a combo throw, Stonehead (f throw), and a great move to use out of it is Flash Tornado (back tilt). As for approach options, he gets some nice upper body invincibility with Roundhouse to Triple Spin Kicks (diagonally forward/up tilt, A x4). You also have Nejiri Uraken (d tilt) and Twin Pistons (up tilt, A x2) as great anti airs if someone is coming at your from above or with short hops. Theres a lot more to this character but learning these moves gradually should get you started :)

I had no idea who Kazuya was, but I really liked his character design, and he's fun to play even though I suck at him. Kazuya's inclusion actually got me interested in a bit of his lore, but more importantly, the music. Tekken music is fire! You never know what you might be interested in if you don't give characters a chance just because you don't know them, so I appreciate Poppt's attitude. Even little things like him saying that the throw animations are sick, really shows how much fun he has with the game, which is hard to do on Smash online sometimes.
-If you're getting hit with a 10 Hit Combo and get knocked off stage, you can hold shield along with angling your control stick upwards and the direction towards the stage in order to grab ledge. -Learn how to crouch dash. -Down throw to [Roundhouse to Triple Spin Kicks] at low percents is a good combo.
So far, where do you feel kazuya fits into your tier list and/or do you have any changes for your tier list after the update? Also, in the ten hit combo, it looks like if you stop at the ninth hit, your opponent gets knocked down. Might be a good idea to try out.

A good Combo with Kazuya on some characters is sweet spot nair in to Nejiri Uraken ( I think down Tilt) into side B sometimes it also combos into Down B :)
My tips for you: 1- UpB if you are away from stage and below. 2- If you have RAGE, you'll activate the special attack with DownB, Grab or if you input the Dragon Uppercut (which is a more powerful version) 3- FSmash has a sweetspot on the fist and superarmor, use it wisely.

I can't wait for the next 5 videos of Poppt trying to get Kazuya in Elite Smash
1 small tip (i suck as kazuya as well): you can airdodge after up b to extend your recovery a bit more!

I think is fun to grind in the GSP, now you'll have another Kazuya video 🤣
I officially have a character with higher GSP than a pro smasher
So far, where do you feel kazuya fits into your tier list and/or do you have any changes for your tier list after the update?
Also, in the ten hit combo, it looks like if you stop at the ninth hit, your opponent gets knocked down. Might be a good idea to try out.
I'm just waiting for the one player whose an absolute god with this character.
Check out Riddles, he's goated with all the FG characters
@@Zeledon3
Riddles isn't even playing Smash at this point, he is just playing Tekken and Street Fighter with a Smash filter over it and a mod for whoever he's againstm
Play a cpu
@@jasonpeng5798 That's a good idea
i have been waiting for this
9:57 maybe you could have gone for the 10 jab combo
2:28 "Can't act out of Up B." -Poppt1 2021 Are you sure about that? Did a cheeky DAir today straight outta Up B
It’s so funny how he says that this character gets kills or damage to easy but looses almost every match
A good Combo with Kazuya on some characters is sweet spot nair in to Nejiri Uraken ( I think down Tilt) into side B sometimes it also combos into Down B :)
My tips for you:
1- UpB if you are away from stage and below.
2- If you have RAGE, you'll activate the special attack with DownB, Grab or if you input the Dragon Uppercut (which is a more powerful version)
3- FSmash has a sweetspot on the fist and superarmor, use it wisely.
Gotta say, it was fun to go against you, even though I mashed a bit to hard on the last stock. Also really wasn’t expecting to fight you considering I’m on the east coast. Anyway good games. I was rainslee
Me a min min main crying about the min min nerfs
Poppt1: wooooo
Poppt1 laughing at his low 7 mil+ GSP
Me throwing away my switch to hide my shame
"you can SDI"
That Character literally has no hitlag on his hits. For those of you who don't know, SDI'ing is wiggling your left stick into a direction to move a little bit into that direction WHILE IN HITLAG
Finally a smash UA-camr who knows what lower ranks of quick play are like, these are the ranks that good players who make dumb mistakes are banished to.
13:40 "You can tell I do not play fighting games."
Well yeah, you're a Smash player...
