- Making activity kits for my kids is one of my favorite things to do. We would take them to the restaurant to keep our kids entertained and learning while we waited for our food. Currently, we are eating at restaurants so I wanted to come up with an alternative for using these kits. In this video I am going to show you how we are making and using our activity kits.

The day after I found out we won Rush Hour I discovered that my daughter plays a similar game on a computer program my husband installed for her. What?! We were so excited to receive it today and I can't believe how well she does for a 3 year old! Great choice! Thank you!

Thank you for your videos and ideas (found you just a few weeks ago). I made a travel activity kit for my toddler (when we can go places again haha) and I have also made something similar to this in shoe box size boxes for each day of the week with different activities/themes. Really makes a huge difference.

School is done after this week and I am planning on making activity kits that both my boys (now 1st and 3rd grade) will be able to do. I am thinking about a planet theme where we make a mobile with the planets and I also have a book on them too. Then another theme idea is bugs, I got some bug catching kits from the $tree last year and we have a microscope and a preserved bee we found in our outside toy box. I am thinking of showing them a video of the life cycle of the butterfly and I also have a folder center for spiders. I just hope I can get them together and not get myself too overwhelmed. I love your ideas. For the kits! Do you have any ideas for kits for children with sensory processing disability/disorders?
I don't have an activity kit video just for that, but I do have videos on sensory - you can search the channel for "sensory" and it should come up with some videos.

I really don't have a choice in curriculum, we use what they school uses.
