Auto trans fluid on a rag works wonders on sunfaded falcon plastics, also great for the door handles and window plastics etc, lasts a good couple of years before needed to be redone

Hey Jarrad, get some old engine oil on a rag and rub it on the old grey plastic. Used to work a treat on the old UK 🇬🇧 fords in the 90s. See how you go👍

The tyre shine you used on the wheels actually works amazing on faded trim. Just did my Jeep with it and the faded trim came up like new and has held up well so far.

You can try the heatgun on the bumpers but it doesn't always work and you can end up with tiger stripes on them. Mother's does a good plastic trim restorer. You could always paint the lower half body colour like a Fairmont.

Should try some spacers on the front for sure! Looking good though mate!

Great video. Use some Osren Reblack on the bumpers, they are intended to be grey and will go stripey if heated up. The clamps on the steering boots are actually correct and OEM, amazingly!

A heat gun held not too close and passed over in a wave motion has been known to revive the look of the plastic bumpers.

Mate, great to see a young bloke enjoying an EB! Great cars, and as far as those plastic bumpers and trim, I used to use Armor All Original religiously on my EB XR8 and it always looked like new..even after more than 14 yrs of ownership! Good luck with it, looks the goods mate!

Amazing the difference it makes when you lower it. Looks good. I've seen clips around where people use heat guns around the bumpers to bring the shine back to plastic. Not sure how good it works?

Given the car looks pretty good Underneath. Maybe it is a good idea to bring the car back to Brand New factory condition like in 1991.

I recently picked up an ED xr6 - use it as my daily low and slow cruiser while the xr6t gets parked up for a bit.

Probably my favorite will it run in Australia rn, kinda like the injector / carb intake its got, would be sick to see you keep that 🤷🏽‍♂️ if your gonna turbo it at some point, do a budget turbo and make a custom manifold with the stock intake and carb thingy 😂 some Max's peeding rods turbo with a peeding rods gate, no blowoff valve because we drive like real men and a cheeky front mount 🤷🏽‍♂️ the guards definitely need filling in the front 😂 minty build tho man 👏🏾

I love the suspension design on these compared to the "improved" au-ba-bf, its absolute piss easy to work on and upgrade, if you want it to handle like the best car youv ever driven put SuperPro bushes in all the front it'll only run you about $600-$750, also Ultra low Ultraking shocks goes feels really nice front n rear + front au upper control arms with the t.i.performance balljoint adapters makes it steer heaps better.
