  • Just put some old dyno clips together as I know you guys love the noise!! lol
    mods in the first clips are dealer evo/aftermarket app, wings can with baffle in then out and the evo air box lid with the standard paper filter. I just wanted a dyno run to see how the fueling was with the dealer map. i'm sure it was 66/67hp which is about right.
    Last clip is the latest with all the current mods on! Tekmo header pipe, DNA filter with no air box lid, Wings can with no baffle and power commander with custom tune. 72hp at the wheel!
    Any questions, fire them in the comments below!!!

      My 701 didn't have a factory fitted or power commander map select switch. 👍

    So if I take the baffle our of my wings, i only need a PCV? Would i damage the bike if i run no baffle and no PCV?

      Depending on where you are on the world, your dealer may be able to install the akra/evo/aftermarket mapon yourbikes ecu. These bikes run lean to meet emissions standards and it is recommended to have your fuelling adjusted somehow if you remove the baffle or fit a different air filter. You can either get it mapped or fit a pcv and tune it. At the bare minimum I would fit the fuel dongle from rottweiler. Running the bike too lean generates heat which "could" damage the piston.

      @@Twedymoto I'll look into fuel dongles. Do you know if they are easy to install ?
      Edit : just.looked at them. It has the option to ad a 12mm o2 sensor - do I need one ?

      The dongle itself is very easy to install. unplug a sensor and attach the dongle! The option is to add a bung in the exhaust to replace the o2 sensor as the fuel dongle makes it redundant so basicaly it just tidies up the bike.

    But with just a wings exhaust, it doesn't need to be tuned?

      Correct. Wings can with the baffle in will be fine in it's own!

    What year was the bike?

    What figures did you get?

      On the first dyno it was about 67 whp with just the husky map on. 2nd dyno was 72 whp after a custom tune and tekmo header.

      @@Twedymoto 72wheel horse power dammm thats a lot how many hours u need toreplace the piston on this thing?

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  3 роки тому +1

      @@tallman1482 it doesn't need replaced after a certain amount of hours like a 450 does. I've seen 701s and 690s with 40,000 miles on and still on the stock piston. 👍

      @@Twedymoto im considering buying a 701 husky with 2500 kilometers on it how about gearbox and clutch oil ?

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  3 роки тому +1

      @@tallman1482 clutch, gearbox and engine oil is all the same oil. It has 10,000km service interval but best to do it at 5,000km and do the brake and clutch fluid every year.
