chopin competition 2010 was full of so many artists, so many different approach to chopin it is an inexhaustible gold mine.
Bozhanov IS and WILL BE FOREVER my favorite performer of Chopin Competition 2010 !!!
BRAVISSIMO !!!
I know he was so musical!
end of sonata, plays 16th's together, like chords; end of tutti, 9:50 ... plays different to any score ever seen. very exciting new pianist who didn't forget Chopin was a great improviser ... this pianist makes one think that something is lost in today's usual competition top picks
Certainly an interpretation I’ve never heard before, but I like it.
Pan Fryderyk Chopin jest dumą Polski! Cały naród jest z niego dumny! 🇵🇱
Un authentique talent à l’état pur. Une merveille !
22:05 closed eyes public...so beautiful...a dream....
, pure, soft fragile, touching just belle
That noticeable mistake in minute 38 means absolutely NOTHING. This performance was amazing and an emotional triumph.
E' cosi che si suona il pianoforte: bravo bravissimo. Lo splendore del tocco e' qualche cosa di meraviglioso tra Rubinstein e arturo benedetti michelangeli.
Fantastic 👌thank you
LOve it! Wonderful!!!
bravo...18:00 so moving...electric...
genius..!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite for ever! 7:48 - 8:26 LOVE
Emozionante!
It's great to get more videos of the previous edition! Thanks a lot for uploading. Who was the conductor?
The conductor was the then artistic director of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra Antoni Wit.

CMは楽章の間に入れるのがエチケットです!!音楽を愛する人ならわかって頂けると思っております!!(^^)
120%👏👏👏
it was good shoot immediately, but I have the impression that you have blocked the key, if you look well the button does not come down as it should, remains locked
Evgeni may not be the best one, but he plays with great feeling and doesn’t rush through passages like Daniil did.
❤️

この方は上手ですがショパンがみられない。
ショパンはこういう弾き方をしないと思う。
やっぱり作曲家が求めている弾き方が本当の弾き方だと思う。
そして、心に響く美しさがない。
nice shot evgeny kissin

he almost had a big mistake......
in a few places ... seems he plays better by himself as only person on stage, which is actually very suitable for Chopin
Many... Probably would have placed if it weren't for an un-competitive number of unforced lapses
The only thing lacking in this performance, I hear, is time... More time to prepare and rehearse: especially because the artist has obviously not been rehearsing his little part with a robotic backtrack of the orchestral parts. This is how most of this year's winners sound. But if you're going to be an (actual) Chopin improvisor, you'll require more time w/orchestra than the competition can probably afford.
Which specific mistake(s) are you referring to? Fingering? At the end of the day he played everything correctly and with a lot of passion and soul invested - none of us here is able to even approach the easiest part of this very challenging piano piece and none of us can judge his level of virtuosity just because of “perception of mistake”
This is a fabulous passionate and technically superb performance!!!
looks like the keys are locked. What a pity in38:42
wonder if that wasn't one of the many course bits of pepper in this concert that cost him dearly with placement
"To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable".
Ludwig van Beethoven.
@@misschocoholic82 Absolutely agree with you!
Sometimes he looks like he shat himself.
17:36 is he having a stroke
@1910.. Funny... It's you who's faceless here, in this forum. Coward... You. Not him. He knows what feelings are.
@@thArt-ei5yf you are envy and malicious I think!
@@RumiTosheva I don't like show off assholes
@Robert Lee, Countertenor Thats ridiculous. Some people are really nervous when they play in public and he has to free his body this way otherwise he wouldn't play. Do you really think that he is thinking how he will look while playing Chopin Concerto?
2010 in Warsaw Chopin competition judges was correct. The fourth place is also too good for him. After competition winners can usually play Prokofiev 2nd. Concerto or Rachmaninov 3rd concerto. Unfortunately evgeni can't play them.
Any youtuber have watched it that evgeni played them? Judges were so clever. They could see in the future.
@Obtuse Recluse Argerich's case is not the same. Because she can play other technical concerto pieces. Tchaikovsky, rachmaninoff 3th concerto. But evgeni can't play one of them.
It's fact!
And Argerich and evgeni aren't the same level.
If you have ears to hear rightly. You can't write as like it
@Obtuse Recluse evgeni can't play prokofiev concerto 2 or rachmaninoff concerto 3. It's his level
@@gaspardondine553 And writing dumb comments in miserable English under all his videos is your level, I guess...
@Argerich's almighty squeak Absolutely agree! Judging by the person's terse reply even such simple concepts are beyond them.
Prokofiev isn’t Chopin. Chopin Competition isn’t Rachmaninov Competition.
Давидович лучше играет, а это лишь жалкое копирование,
this is easily the ugliest version on record -- almost as bad as one could imagine glenn gould butchering it!
What dont you like about it?
I think Danill Trifonov is worse lol. Evgeni B didn’t rush through passages like Daniil did.
