I wish there was a report ran that shows how many of these careless drivers are from out of state and relocated to Portland. I personally noticed that people from California, Texas, Nevada and Arizona drive not only recklessly but extremely aggressive. A lot have already registered their vehicles to Oregon so now they blend in, but for those still roaming our roadways with plates from their home state truly are sending a message that they don't give a damn about any of us Oregonians and proudly bring their poor & deadly driving habits to our state!...

Listen to yourself, and back up.
Humans come from all over, and many are bad drivers. Oversimplifying it to "bad driving habits belong only to expats of "other" states" is an extremely myopic point of view 😮

I know one thing that will help. As a resident that moved from another state, you can make people getting a license take a driving test when they move here. All i had to do to get my driver's license here was forfeit my out of state license and pay a fee. Not even a written test. You can have someone on the road who hasn't tested to drive in 30 years and is also unfamiliar with oregon roads and conditions. and i think thats not okay.

The more you clog the streets that were meant for cars with bicyclists and pedestrians. The more accidents happen. Next cars will be illegal in Portland 😅😂

Agree! This is the comment of the year! No other comment in this thread is necessary. I see this every day. The roads on Portland are made for vehicles only. They are not big or wide enough for bikes too.
