- I wasn't gonna do another Slibbs video until after Jack's last episode, because I've had a lot of ideas and songs going through my head for after that happens. But then I couldn't resist doing one today, because I've had a lot of feels ever since "The First Day" (18x07). This video is focused on Gibbs' feelings with that episode. It's kind of sad and regretful, which is how Gibbs should feel. I'm gonna really miss the dynamic between Jack Sloane and Jethro Gibbs after she leaves. I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye next episode.

I hate how blindsided he is by it. And i think he hates it, too lmao...He has changed so much he doesn't just naturally predict he's gonna lose people. This makes me really afraid he's gonna close up again.
So much truth in your comment. I'm with you, he totally hates that he is blindsided. He really has changed a lot. At the same time, him not letting her in and being with her shows that he still won't let his heart be open to a relationship, so he's still closed off. I wish he and Jack had gotten together. It sucks that the writers let the chemistry build for several seasons but never let it actually go anywhere.

Oh I love this song and great job editing as always. I'm so bummed that the show isn't giving her a proper sendoff. They better have her in the last episode a lot but I already know not to expect it. :(
Thank you! I'm bummed she doesn't get a full proper sendoff either. It should have been at least a 2 episode focus. I'm sad Slibbs never went anywhere after all this time either. 3 and a half seasons of endless teasing and never going through with anything.

This is such a wonderful and heartbreaking video!! Gibbs seemed so shocked and sad when Sloan said about leaving - i wish she could have stayed and something happened between them. You've captured their relationship so brilliantly!!!
Thank you! ❤️ I really appreciate that. Gibbs really does looked shocked, and it breaks my heart. I wish she had stayed too, and I wish the writers had actually done something real with Slibbs a good two seasons ago.
FromStoneToHallows me too!! Unlike the other potential love interests (besides his wife) I feel like Jack and Gibbs worked from the moment they met - they keep each other on their toes but genuinely care for each other too! The whole time I felt like they could get together at any point and it wouldn't have felt rushed but that it just worked ... not to mention, Gibbs has smiled more in all the scenes from just one season with Jack then what feels like the combination of all the previous seasons!!
I really wish they would bring Maria/Sloan back in a couple of season because there was so much potential!
