Shouldn't be too surprising though since you uploaded the video. Lots of "modern technology" there for "1979", isn't there? What make and model of home movie camera was that? Looks like digital except for the "dust trail" that comes and goes in all black and never really begins or ends. Looks like a "special effect" right out of some cheap editing software.
Hi there well its changed so much we drove past on Wednesday we looked at are old married quarter we cant beleave how it has changed I felt quiet upset as it was a loverly camp I wonder if leeming is still going strong great place loverly memories
Hi chances are if you have looked at this you may have been posted at some point to Church Fenton. We have a Church Fenton Facebook page so why not join that too, you never know you might come across some more photos either of yourself or people you may know x
Hi there we was there in 1980 we called back on the way back from a trip we drove past are old married quarter it's so different even sherbon has changed love to here from you we lived on dorts crescent
Dry-erase boards and zoom on a tripod-mount film camera shooting ambient light indoors under fluorescent lights with no "flicker". And it's so compact you can get in-flight instrument panel shots. But no sound. That's odd. Not as odd as the super-dark lens on that "flight helmet" you could wear arc-welding but couldn't see dick through in overcast conditions like that, but that's more stupid than odd.
Used to watch the JP's fly over my school in Garforth, great video.
Thanks very much for uploading this trip down memory lane (Linton 1978 30 Course), and back then filming was not simple, so well done.
I was there in 1988 flying JP`s great fun and an ideal trainer.
Flew from there as a cadet in 1996 and 97, where the guys are sitting looks very familiar. Wow
Bloody hell. That brings back a few memories. I was there in '83.
Great to see myself and my old pals!
