if i ordered a guitar and synyster gates and johnny christ handed it to me on my front porch i definitely would have passed out, this guy is incredibly lucky!
Probably I was just trying to be chill and just act like their normal people which they are in the sense. But just like me he probably freaked out the minute they were gone and started screaming lol
You know that’s what I said to myself for years prior to meeting the band. The ones the moment came I kept my cool. Shook hands took pics. Super cool dudes. They signed just about anything we wanted once they met with everyone. Unfortunately I didn’t want to seem sus and try getting individual pics with each member. We took a group pic with us fans and the band. Which is still badass. Then later on I caught Brooks drumstick which seemed like he handed it to me after their set before Metallica came on
I bet he was in complete and total disbelief. Like you're not gonna be losing your shit when your neurons aren't making good connection because you're just confused and surprised lol.
I met syn at the a little pizza heaven meet and greet and I damn near passed out. Then I got to hangout and have beers with him at Johnny's beer release and it was like hanging out with an old friend while our kids played in the parking lot 😂
I miss seeing this crew being on camera all the time and being busy. now we get these random really wholsome videos i love it. but i still wish to see them all more.
Is that the reaction to Syn and Johnny home delivering a guitar, man I would have been going crazy like a little kid in a toy store, I probably would have cried like a baby, what an awesome thing to do Gates and Johnny 👌👍🤘❤
Yeah, if this happened to me, I promise you I would be ten times more excited lol. I’ve been a fan for 15 years now. I’d probably pass out tbh. These dudes are literally my idols and musical inspirations. I can’t fathom having Syn and JC just randomly rolling up to my house. 😭🔥🤘🏻
From politely asking if Andrew is home, to hugging him, to then taking the initiative of saying "hey let's get some photos" when Andrew was completely floored by the fact he's even there!! Man, Brian is on a whole new level of human. I hope, one day I'll be lucky enough to even spend 5 minutes talking to him. If you need a video to see who these guys REALLY are; this is the video. Absolutely love these guys, pure, kind and just downright respectful. I'll always love them. "Now it's time to get white girl shitfaced and not feel bad about ourselves". My god, can the guy get any more human?
Just one more reason I like these guys. The music is awesome but it’s their actions that speak so loudly. This one of the few living guitarists I would love to meet.
I won a Schecter Omen signed by all 5 of them in an eBay charity auction back in... 2007 or 2008. It has become my most treasured possession BY FAR. So proud of it.
I love how this dude is so calm about the whole situation.. I would faint or freak out and pay my whole life just to see him standing and getting Starbucks or smth
Thank you guys for doing that, that's awesome. I was a bit surprised by his reaction. I would have flipped out, like everyone else said. Maybe the kid was in shock and didn't know how to react. He may have thought that if he freaked out, he would make you uncomfortable. I bet when he went inside, he was like, "Why the fuck, did I just stand there?" replaying it all in his head, thinking of what he should have done, then called all of his friends to tell them what just happened. 😂 I bet it surprised Johnny and Syn that the guy was so chill about it. It was definitely a moment he'll never forget.
I love both Johnny and especially Syn’s performance in Hall to the King and this is epic. I would stand in shock before going crazy if this happened to me. So sick that you two did this!
I would have lost my mind if Syn and Johnny showed up at my door. A7X is hands down my all time favorite rock band and I grew up on 80s rock. Can't wait for the new album and and wait to see you guys on tour again
Very awesome to see you guys take time out of your busy schedules to make someone's day special...that's the kind of class I can expect from my local hometown brothers of HB! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
This will probably get lost and it's been a year but here goes. My music teacher knew I was a huge avenged fan when I was in 8th grade. In his guitar class I flew right past all the regular curriculum songs and instead he had me learning avenged songs instead. This was around the time the self titled album came out and I was playing afterlife on a crappy acoustic guitar. I found out during Christmas break about the Rev passing away and it made me depressed. All I wanted to do was play seize the day over and over again on my guitar during class, I didn't want to even touch anything from the white album after learning just how much the Rev wrote guitar wise for the album and I thought I wouldn't be doing him any justice butchering it acoustically. I was a teen, didn't make a whole lot of sense, but avenged inspired my absolute love for music and my desire to play and sing. A few weeks go by and my teacher hands me an envelope. I opened it up and there were three things inside. One was a letter from one of his friends. His friend had married one of the Revs sisters and wrote me a letter detailing the rest of the package along with a request to never broadcast it, sell it, basically don't be a prick. The next was the pamphlet from James Sullivan's funeral along with directions to where his gravestone is. Attached to that was a letter from none other than Synyster Gates himself, the letter saying "please don't ever stop playing, the world needs people just like you." I have it framed and I look at it every day as I leave my bedroom to face whatever is in store for me. Thank you Brian, thank you Avenged Sevenfold. I'm 26 now, I play guitar, bass, sing, and have been writing music for myself ever since. I had a band during high school called Discontented we released an album, "The Blood and the Beautiful" in 2019. As of now we're no longer together due to just simple life circumstances, but at no point did my desire to play music ever leave me. To this day I still write and play, messing around with home recording stuff. I don't know if I'll ever release it, but it makes me happy and fulfilled knowing I put 100% of my creative energy towards music and Avenged Sevenfold is what started me down the path in the first place. One day I'll make my way to his grave, I'll drink a toast to Jimmy, and thank him for the impact he himself and those who loved him had on me.
Damn brother this vid came out a year ago and Johnny still replied to you and congrats on everything. Just remember if you release your projects there will always be haters and try to bring you down but with this story you are strong as ever so do not worry about it.
Damn that's my dream, lucky boy... Without a doubt Synyster is the guitarist who made me love the guitar and break my head with his solos... An example to follow on the guitar, the great Sy
Great channel! Me and my son love Avenged Sevenfold we’ve been fans since the beginning. I have an important question for you Johnny or Synyster…. My friend Pete Rossi won the Avenged Sevenfold almost easy guitar contest back in the day about 14 years ago. He has never played that guitar on stage. It was signed by the whole band including The Rev. I shot the video and submitted it. He used my Digitech whammy pedal on the submission… I even encouraged him to keep playing the lead guitar after the vocals came back in which some people loved and some people thought was disrespectful. But you guys voted it the winning submission so I guess my recommendation paid off. My friend Pete Rossi died from fentanyl five years ago this coming March. He was a fantastic guitar player. Al Pitrelli left one of our favorite bands Savatage to join Megadeth. I was determined to move down to Florida to meet any member from the band that I could and I ended up meeting Dr. Killdrums and passed Pete’s music on to him and got him in another band called Reverence because Savatage was in hiatus due to the success of trans-Siberian Orchestra. a bunch of videos of them with my best friend Pete Rossi. He got to do a mini tour over in Europe for about four weeks and they were supposed to do a major tour in Japan and Europe for the second album but he had passed away. I was wondering if there’s anyway I can get a certificate of authenticity or something stating that you guys had signed this Guitar. I don’t mean to be boisterous when I say it’s probably the only Synyster Gates Schecter guitar ever signed by the whole band with Rev signature on it. Me and Pete were so proud that he had won this guitar. I don’t know if a certificate of authenticity ever came with the guitar or not. The guitar was completely taken apart when I got it. His brother was a homebuilder and he had clearcoated the body all of the signatures so they wouldn’t rub off. I took it to a Luthier do you have it properly reassembled. I have only played that guitar two or three times in my house. It means so much to me and I don’t want anything to happen to it. If you can respond back to me somehow that would be fantastic! Keep on rocking!
I'm glad you two can be so playful in public now. You two seem so much closer than you have ever been and really open and comfortable with being seen together as friends now.
Dude if those guys rocked up at my front door I would be going nuts and be super thankful and hugging the shit outs them, show them some love for coming to your fkn house!
Man if syn and johnny came to my house I would be in shock! Syn your awesome! And johnny Crist your awesome too! I do not see how the guy was so calm meeting you guys
I am 51 and just now getting into Avenged Sevenfold. Apparently, I have been living under a rock. I had liked a few of their songs before which I just heard on the radio but somehow missed a lot of their songs. Just a badass band.
When i randomly met you guys in Amsterdam some years back was the best day of my life, all of the those i got to greet were really friendly and the show the next day was the reason i traveled from Greece with my friends. P.s. That day was your birthday Johnny and you were getting pissed drunk in a random pub we walked in cause our friend wanted to take a piss and we decided to stay for a beer.
Just discovered this video. I would be completely starstruck if Synyster Gates, or any member of A7X showed up to my doorstep with a guitar. I've always wanted a Schectre....dreams man, dreams..
Oh my god.. what was that??? I can't believe you guys went to that boy's house to personally deliver a guitar, and he doesn't express any gratitude to you! They wouldn't even ask you to come in, how much receptivity in... My dream is to be able to buy a guitar from Synyster Gates, and have a picture with them all if I could! That would be the happiest day of my life! One day I will perform, going to one of your concerts and buying a Syny Schecter. One day... Big warm hug here from Brazil there you!! Johnny you are amazing bro! att: Sayron Lima
If you guys ever deliver to my house I will throw you guys a party... Maybe a BBQ!!! Show you my home studio.... Man, if that ever happened, I'd have a million questions and just being able to jam with them for like a minute or something would mean so much more to me than signatures and a picture. Just to have a moment to just thank them so much for the songs that helped me through the tough times... To let them know how much I loved their band and how I was blown away by Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan. That guy is my Dime Bag Daryl. I would probably be speechless for like a split second and then I'd have to force myself to shut up... And I'd probably be addressing them as Mr. Gates and Mr. Christ being like stupid respectful.... I mean, I don't want to piss them off, but I figured their more laid back white guys who like a good cook out... So, I definitely would fire the grill up and invite them in and show them as much hospitality as I possibly could... The only thing that would make me throw up and faint though... Would be if Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan showed up at my door.... If he was still alive and he delivered it... I would faint... I would need a medic.
I don't know if it was the heat of the moment, but I probably would have given a better reaction. Maybe hug both of them, since he's a fan of the "band". Would have probably invited them inside for a coffee ( I know Syn and Johnny are pretty occupied throughout the day, but if they're delivering the guitar by themselves, they deserve a cup of coffee and some snacks). Not many get this opportunity though, that's why I said.
I’ve been wanting a Synyster Gates signature Schecter Custom for like a decade now. Probably going to finally get one within the next year. I’d be so stoked if they showed up 😂 Never would happen though cause I’m way north but still cool to think about. It’s cool that you guys take the time out of your day to do stuff like this and make some content along with it.
"Hey, is this Andrew? Synyster Gates, Avenged Sevenfold." "Hey, 'Sup Brian? What's up, Johnny? Hey, I don't see Matt with you guys, what's he doing?" "Playing Call of Duty Zombies." "Well, that figures. Treyarch does love your stuff, ever since Black Ops, so why not?"
Honestly wow what the hell, I know anyone of us would freak out at first, but the guy still didnt seem too ecstatic or grateful about it. I would have definitely invited them in for a drink or something and have someone take the picture nicely maybe try and convince them to stay maybe even plug the guitar in lol it goes on and on my imagination
That's exactly what i thought. He didn't seem that excited or grateful. I don't understand that at all. Shocked...yes....but didn't really thank Syn & Johnny. That wasn't cool.
the guy is like "well, another thing in my day" If this happens to me I would definitely be like a 10 year old. And I would invite the boys to come into my house to play the guitar. Damn envy jaja
if i ordered a guitar and synyster gates and johnny christ handed it to me on my front porch i definitely would have passed out, this guy is incredibly lucky!

The only thing that would make me throw up and faint though...
Would be if Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan showed up at my door....
If he was still alive and he delivered it...
I would faint... I would need a medic.
Plot Twist :
"Syn and Johny hearing someone screaming 2 minutes later"
They are very humble to the fans ❤❤
That would be my Dream when synster Gates knocks on my door and give his Signature guitar ..
"Hey, is this Andrew? Synyster Gates, Avenged Sevenfold."
"Hey, 'Sup Brian? What's up, Johnny? Hey, I don't see Matt with you guys, what's he doing?"
"Playing Call of Duty Zombies."
"Well, that figures. Treyarch does love your stuff, ever since Black Ops, so why not?"
After the shit day I had, I needed to see something positive. Thanks, guys!
Reaction wasnt up to my expectation😌
2:18 Johnny “come on step down…I need all the help I can get. Height wise” 😂😂🤣🤣
I would be crying if Synyster Gates would turn up on my door!
I’d collapse in tears in there presence. Sobbing like a child that seen his puppie get obliterated by a gang of motorcycles.
ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a regular day in 'murica!
look at his normal expression? even he seems to meet his friend lol
the guy is like "well, another thing in my day" If this happens to me I would definitely be like a 10 year old. And I would invite the boys to come into my house to play the guitar. Damn envy jaja
You can tell by his hairstyle like Gates and the a7x t-shirt that he is really a big fan!
mans handled that way too calmly lmao
Kid is definitely in shock lol that’s a lot to take in 😂
Awesome! We love it 🤘🏻🤩
He pulled a Rick "Wild thing" Vaughn. Gave eem signed baseballs and didn't even have no cake...
