    until 1857 taj mahal used to be studded with diamonds and precious stones before those were looted in British rule. top spire of taj mahal used to be all gold, it got looted and replaced with a brass one. indian style fruit and flower gardens were cut and british lawns were grown.

    Hi shev and dev welcome to india
    Great to hear you liked indian culture and history
    Only 3 thing i would like to say that you told that train was 50 min late compare to thailand and korea
    1) origin of train was from jabalpur that was 638 km from sawai madhapur station which you boarded
    2) this train line is the busiest line in whole india mumbai - delhi route. at the given time many train moves around on same track
    3) this is the country of 140 cr people
    Some facts of india railway.
    n 2022, Indian Railways carried 808.6 crore (8.086 billion) passengers and in 2022, Railways transported 1418.1 million tonnes of freight. It runs 13,169 passenger trains daily, on both long-distance and suburban routes, covering 7,325 stations across India.
    Now you decide any country have this much infrastructure to move.
    This is india ❤india

    • @nitinpriyadarshi269
      @nitinpriyadarshi269 Рік тому +6

      There's no need of giving excuses. The train's schedule was made knowing all those facts. Saying things like "this is a country of 140 cr people" doesn't mean anything. It's not like the train was on time but suddenly 140 cr people came into existence which caused it to be delayed.
      It was late. Just deal with it lol

      Gujrat is definitely not underrated...madhya pradesh yes but our govt doesn't put effort in updating the infra so the facilities are not very great even in hill stations like Pachmari...we have potential but the ministers r trash and lazy

    If you are interested in architecture of 7 to 12th century, visit ajantha and ellora caves and mahabalipuram (in both cases mountain itself are carved to temples, imagine how skilled an architect have to be to do this. Usually all temples or other monuments are made by joining sculptured stones). Also visit hampi and thanjavur temples. The gopuram of thanjavoor Brihadisvara Templetmwas installed on top by building almost kilometers of inclined plane. All are unesco sites.

    The best way to see the Taj Mahal is on a full moon night. It glows beautifully.
