♿️Good afternoon my wonderful chums. I hope you are all doing as well as can be during these strange times. I know this might not be the sort of content that you subscribed for, but please bare with us. Everyone has had to makes sacrifices and compromises. I hope you enjoy our little day in the life video. I hope if gives you some entertainment, comfort and joy. We have been reading though your video ideas and it has really helped. I have actually been busier, and more tired than ever with the new changes. So if anyone could contribute to the subtitles I would be sooooo grateful. alll our love. The Hubbards
@@confusedchild5539 Omg that would be amazing thank you here is the link ua-cam.com/users/timedtext_video?v=suQPNAG4Lpw&ref=share I just go though and edit what google has generated. :)
Our teachers still haven’t givin us anything but repetitive emails saying “it’ll be ready tomorrow” then tomorrow comes and the email is sent again in going mad
There are some cool ideas for a substitute option for math practice. Often full time homeschool children use things like recipes, shopping (online only for now) and organization to learn about math concepts and how we use them in real life. Might be a fun option. My kiddos do one day a week with no worksheets and we do all the subjects in the real world. It’s challenging to think of ideas for every subject but is super fun to get creative and teach them why it is important to learn what they are being taught
Hiii, I'm just catching up on videos! Coming from a primary school teacher, you are doing an amazing job!! The best thing we can do for children right now is make sure they are happy and enjoying this time they would never have normally had at home! The academic stuff is great but all us teachers care about is that children are happy at home :) Stay safe xx
I love the thumbnail had you and Shaun going like "OMG!" And Daisy Belle like "Meh, it's fine, I'm just gonna smile and give a thumbs up to the camera!" 😂😂😂
Wheelsnoheels- Gem Hubbard I have a MOUNTAIN LOAD of work and my teachers are sending so much stuff EVERY DAY and I haven't even completed the first booklet! #stayhome #withme
Wow! This is so cool to see you guys finding a routine so effectively as a non-homeschooling family! I homeschooled for the majority of my elementary and high school years, and I have to say even though there were times when I BEGGED to go to public school (most homeschooled kids have a phase like that I think) I wouldn't trade it for anything. There's nothing like being at home, learning with someone who understands you better than anyone. I've been hearing so many parents getting stressed out, but the thing I keep telling people, especially with young kids, you don't need to do 6-8 hours of school! Especially younger children only need a couple hours of focused school work. The rest can be fun stuff, like googling easy kitchen experiments, playing board games, etc. My encouragement to parents everywhere, you, as a parent, are already equipped to teach your children because NOBODY loves them or knows them like you. Learning is what children do naturally, and even when it doesn't look like they're doing anything productive, their brains are designed to learn and soak up information. Be there to answer questions, find online resources, ask homeschooling families for their advice! You and Sean are doing amazing Gem!
Loved this video! I hope you do more day in the lifes! :D Would just like to say because some people might not realise that real homeschooling is different to what many families find themselves doing now, in a state of isolation. It's much more varied and not like school at home a lot of the time, there's more socialising and support in the homeschool community. But for the situation many families are in now, I have to say you are doing brilliantly and I loved watching this :D :D sending love your way :D
Been trying to get my daughter to do school work but she isn't down with that so its been a bit of a struggle here in Wisconsin 😏 love these kind of videos by the way 😉
Glad I don’t go to school anymore, downside I needda work to pay my bills, haha if I would be in this situation, I would work one day with a all nighter to get the rest of week off haha
We are in week 3 of homeschool (living in the Netherlands) havent seen my grandmoms, fam and Friends. See my parents, my brother and his girls coz they are my caretakers (they take turns) So im not completly alone. Ooohh and ofcourse my big love lives with me,my boxergirl Pip 🐶 To all, stay safe🍀
I’m a senior in college (university? I think those words might mean something slightly different in the UK but they’re interchangeable in the US) and my campus has moved to 100% online. Thankfully, most universities already have a mechanism for online classes for students who are returning to education, have kids, work full time, etc, so the transition wasn’t that hard. However, my partner’s brother still hasn’t gone back to school (he’s 16 and still in public school) because the public schools in the US often aren’t equipped for 100% online and his school in particular has a fair number of homeless/poor students who don’t have access to internet outside of the local libraries which are also closed. I think the school district is still scrambling to figure out what to do. It’s such a weird time.
None of my teachers could juggle. Some of them couldn't even teach. And that Wicks bloke is too chirpy for my liking. My niece helped her Dad build a patio for someone the other day. She's more likely to take over the family business than her brother - he won't even get his lily-white hands dirty! 😋
I love it. Karen and i started home in 5th grade. She still in. She in 9th grade she loves it. She has in spring next week plan have family fun in side. Karen has autism and i have cp and deaf. My husband scott is home with us until mon. I am think doing volgs soon i learn how edit my phone lol
5:32 2 and 2 is actually 2. 2 *plus* 2 is 4. 6:0112:30...am? 9:18 You can avoid cutting yourself by bending the fingers of your left hand away from the knife. 10:37 Ouch! :O
Yep. We would normally use ‘times’ for multiplication. She was correct for UK English. I learned maths at an international sixth form college in the UK. It was amazing the difference in maths vocabulary. Took nearly a term to get us all sorted out.
I don’t know if this is wrong to ask but I’d like to know more about your intimate life , I really like a girl in a wheelchair and Someone told me she doesn’t date because she’s worried she won’t be able to be seen as sexy. I want to make her feel loved how can I do that ? X
The rest of the English speaking part of the world pretty much says maths lol how do you not know this?? Even Mexico in Spanish lol but that's Spanish, and the French even say maths and so on. Maths is not originally from an English word that is partly why they kept the S at the end. Do you say mathematics with an S at the end or do you cut the S off the end of that all the time lol, plus that S does not make it plural. America is the only country where they seem to only say math instead, furthermore I will not be reading any comments back. Webster was an idiot who wanted to sound everything out by the way as interesting as that would be, in fact that would of made things easier for some people. I think that you are a moron who already knew that the rest of the English speaking part of the world said maths instead of math, me really I do not care so long as I can understand someone and communicate with them just fine. In the UK they can say math or maths and I have even seen it as math's but even the US has seen it as math's lol that was from something written a long time ago. The founding fathers of the US said maths at one point in time if they were ever talking about it but yes that was a long time ago though. An other interesting thing is that the rest of the world says zebra crossing instead of crosswalk, even in Spanish translated back into English they are saying zebra crossing and there was a place with art with pictures of zebras in the middle of the road where there was a crossing, Learn some international English. In American culture it is a norm where there is some moron where they think their ignorance is just as good as someone else's intelligence... I am tired of the bullshit! Learn moron learn. The only nice thing about American English is unlike the Queen's English, America did not fuck with the way they sound and so depending on accent in the US they sound more closer to how Shakespeare sounded. The UK's RP English does not cut it. Most radio announcers for example as they speak to be understood nationwide sound closer to how Shakespeare would sound like.
