There's a risk of thyroid tumor/thyroid cancer when using these medications. Read the, "Important Safety Information" for each. And these medications are all new and haven't been around long enough to evaluate the long term effects.
You are very uneducated. First, this class of medication has been around for 20 years. And they do not cause thyroid cancer…it says if you have a history of a very specific (and rare) type of thyroid cancer then don’t take it.
It's not that they didn't disclose what meds they were taking, it's that they didn't let the world know they were not taking those "gummies" that offered no diet no exercise and alot of weight loss. That's what upset me
They should do more than apologize. They should give money to the companies that make these medications so people like me who are actually DIABETIC can get our medications. I have been out of my Mounjaro for a month due to the shortage obese celebrities have caused. They have access to personal trainers and chefs and can put in the work. But here me and many others are rationing our medications because we can not get it to live. So yes SHAME ON THEM!!!
Thanks Dr. Ashton! Even my own personal physicians and mental therapists are guilty of fat shaming. I’m speaking from my own experiences. 😢
If a physician is telling you that you should lose weight it's because it affects your health not because they're trying to fat shame you.
