Paula, your beautiful Christmas decor lends a cozy and loving environment. The Annalee carolers are so sweet - but that Williamsburg door and fence is absolutely the best decoration. It makes for a festive scene and fitting for your location. The papercut ornament with the little girl looking out the window - ❤❤❤ I've always loved your little desk with the oil painting above it and the chest of drawers with the matching blue chairs - such a lovely setting you have created. I know all the gifted items from your parents are close to your heart. Thank you for inviting us into your home.
Thank you so much Mary Beth for you sweet comments. I really want to create a home that is loving and filled with memories for my children - just the way my parents did for me and my siblings.
Paula, such beautiful and sentimental Christmas touches in your home. I enjoyed the tour and the stories behind some of the things you’ve had in your family for years and passed down to you. And you found some of the loveliest things in thrift stores… wow! Glad you have reminders from your Savannah visit… that’s where I was born and raised and still reside! Love our beautiful city! Merry Christmas!
Good morning Paula 😊 Your home & Christmas decor looks so sentimental - curated with love & memories 💖 I completely agree with you that there is a comfort placing the decor in the same spots. It brings back so many memories . I am very fortunate to have both my mom's & my mother-in-law's ceramic trees from the '70s. And I love to display them both. My mother-in-law had painted her own (she had hand painted bone china in her younger years). My mom's came from her sister-in-law, who knew someone who painted them. That aunt had a tradition of lighting her's after trick treating was done on Halloween. Not sure of how that came to be. I, too, am a Susan Branch fan! Have a wonderful day 🎄
Thank you so much, Elaine! It is such a treat to have items that have been passed down through the years! I am so jealous of your ceramic trees! I would love to fine one - and to have two that are so special is wonderful! Merry Christmas to you! PS - just ordered my 2025 Susan Branch calendar! :)
I so enjoyed your video and your decorating ideas. May I ask who is the manufacturer of your sofa? I loved the beige color and the nailhead feature. I also loved all your antiques. Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed the tour of your Christmas decor in your home ...I love how everything has a special meaning and memory. ( And by the way, I think you'll make a great grandma!).❤😊
Paula, I love your home. It's beautiful and and so wonderfully decorated. I love all your special treasures and the stories behind them. Thank you for sharing your warm and welcoming home!❤ Have a beautiful Christmas season. 🎄
@relativelyrefined absolutely use pre-printed tissue paper or even print your own on blank tissue paper or you could use gift wrap or anything like that. That is somewhat flexible to move around the cone. I would use a glue gun nut modge Podge cuz mod Podge can smear it a bit and give you wrinkles unless you like the wrinkle look as some do. If you try it and I hope you do, please post a picture so we can see. Give it a try! It's super easy.
Very nice video, I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Your decor is beautiful. I have not out up a big tree since my husband passed 3 yrs ago. I do have a small one though. I've always wanted a Balsam Hill tree but they are very expensive and not affordable for me as a widow.
Thank you! Balsam Hill is a splurge for sure. This tree is hopefully the last one I will buy. I'm sure the holidays looks much different since your husband's passing. My mom no longer puts up a big tree either since my dad died six years ago. Sending you lots of love and wishing you a blessed holiday season. xo
Hi good to see . Love the way you have decorated your house. Good idea to show your baubles in the glass bowls. Thanks for sharing your candle make. Catch you next time my love. Take care xx
Thank you for that information! I was just researching it the other day. I love the cheery red color and the simple, but lovely design! I would really love to find more things in this pattern!

May I ask how the candles burn with the dried things in them….did they catch fire when the candle burns? Curious.
So far that have burned just fine - no fires! LOL
Thank you! Hazel is too adorable. I had a cat named Hazel 30+ years ago.
Thank you! Hazel is such a sweet and spunky little thing! We love her!

Thank you so much! Wishing you a lovely Christmas season as well!
It would be very easy to make your 3rd chinoiserie tree. I have made these several times.
Did you use tissue paper and mod podge? I may have to give that a try!
