Heretic shareware version: E1M1 (dosbox with CRT shader on)

Aahh! These good old dos games. When gameplay was still authentic.
Back in the nineties, you could get shareware versions of popular games like doom, wolfenstein, descent, duke nukem, ....
These versions were free and gave you a lot of playing time and fun. How many people did play doom beyond the first episode anyway?
Anyway, I managed to find this shareware version of heretic, released in 1994! It was called a doom clone back in the day. It has lots of gore, somewhat less spectacular weapons than doom but lots of fun and atmosphere.
