Doom 2 is a great game for playing when you can spare a 15 minutes. It doesn't require much from you and it is a short burst of enjoyment while slaying multiple demons.
I managed to finish the level with a 100% rating. Not bad.

Although the title says 100% and even the mission end screens say 100%, I have to admit that I forget to pick up 1 very helpful item: the backpack. It is located on a secret place in Level 3, but the game doesn't count it as a secret. Anyway, I had tons of fun again playing these levels. Enjoy watching the video.

Great videos! Which compatibility settings did you use to make it run so well? I'm able to run it on Windows 11 but the audio always bugs out and scratches a lot, and none of the solutions I found online worked. Even the graphics look better on your side, but maybe it's because I forced 16:9 ratio on mine, I should try keeping the original 4:3
I found the solution for the audio just a few hourse after writing the comment (for anyone reading, I was installing "Creative Alchemy", but what I needed was "Creative Alchemy Universal"), but the graphics still look way worse than yours. I checked, my graphics card is set up to keep the original ratio of 4:3, but the game is still showing in 16:9 and with way less detail than yours

This happened once to me, too. I was doing an "official" Championship like yours, with 100% Race Distance and no restarts (but with F2 and F7 helps on). Alesi crashed on me as I was leaving the pits. After that, I never got out of that pitlane without checking with 'down arrow' if someone was coming in the straight. Anyway, that's why modern circuits never put the pitlane wayout line in the way of the racing line. And older circuits, like Montreal, Magny-Cours of Interlagos, found a solution to avoid it. Everyone remembers how Frentzen abandoned the 1998 Canadian Grand Prix...

Hi great video. I loved GPx from Crammond. I still have original GP2 and GP3 discs..... But they will work on Windows 10??? I have to mod exe or something else to make them working?
For GP2, you will have to use Dosbox ECE. That works great under windows 10. GP3, you can play under windows 10 in software mode, or you will have to use a directx wrapper if you want hardware mode.

Hello Peter! Great to see some full Gp2 races on your channel! I tried to reactivate gp2 aswell but I do have a problem. Hope you can help me. I have a T500rs and Fanatec Clubsport Pedals. Whenever i try to set up the controls in GP2 i have the problem that i either can use the throttle or the brake. I have set xy horizontal of t500 to joy1 and xy vertical of the pedals to joy2 in the dosbox mapper. Maybe you could share your mapper settings and your ingame settings?
In steering settings, did you change your pedal settings to 'combined'?

The carset and the track you can find at www.grandprix2.de. You need GP2edit to import the carset and with the Slot & tyre editor you can make changes on the track slots and their stats.
Can this carset be used on Windows 10 too?
Yes. You can play GP2 on Win10 and use all the mods. But you have to run the game using DosBox. If you do, I advise you to use DosBox ECE. It gives you more accurate steering than the regular dosbox.

Ted Meat yes. It is very unreliable but car performance is good. The Merc is a great power source. Jordan is more reliable indeed and a very cool car. 🙂 I’ve always had a soft spot for Jordan.
what are your in game settings regarding the wheel. i meen deadzone , speed sensitivity etc?
Hello Asterousia, my Steering low sensitivity zone is 2%. No steering help or opposite lock help. Max lock is 14 deg. Reduce steering with car speed is 1%. On accelaration and braking, I have a low sensitivity zone of 0%. I hope this answers your question.

@@ecalap31 No. Force feedback wasn't a thing back then. As far as I know, FFB is not supported with GP2.
For more realism you could set Senna with 16384 grip, like Schumacher ;-) good video!
Initially I gave him 16400 grip. But I found him way overpowered this way. On the other hand, it is hard to know how the difference in performance would be between the 2 drivers. He has 16100 grip now, and according to the performance calculator, he has a slight edge over Schumacher. Thnx for the feedback and glad you like the video. I plan to post more soon.

He was far more skilled than Schumacher. Schumacher had to cheat for beating him in the Brazilian GP, using traction control and illegal fuel rig.
