We have a bad tick noise with our project e30!

Welcome to ‪@AutoScholarwithMrB‬ ! Today we are starting the diagnosis of our e30 project. There is a concerning tick with the top end of our M20 2.5. These old BMWs are famous for making a little noise but this was excessive.
Complete diagnosis is going to require pulling the cylinder head and disassembly. I did find the issue and will be posting the video soon so look for it here! It was BAD.

I have the same noise in my car. What was the fix?

Hey, uploading a video soon but it was a rocker pad/cam problem. Changed the cam and all the rockers and it fixed it. Should be posting the second part of this video this week.
