I picked up a '21 plate Kia Picanto GT-Line S, but as it was the last of the old badges it was a special edition model called "Bumblebee" which came with black alloys and a higher bhp (110); this meant it could propel itself from 0 - 62 in 8.5 seconds, making it as quick and as frugal as my Earth killing SEAT! It's an absolute hoot to drive, fantastic car!
If you wanted some go, why buy the 66 HP version? It's like going to a greasy-spoon cafe and complaining they don't serve caviar! Spend more and get the GT-Line S with the 99 HP Turbo engine. I have one and it's a hoot!

I reckon the turbocharged version could give the GTi a decent run for its money. I'll be honest, I was a little underwhelmed when I drove the Up! GTi, although I will concede I only drove it for about 20 minutes or so. Thanks for watching.
I have driven both the 1.0 and the 1.25, and you`re wrong there. In a car of that size, 18 more HP definitely makes a big difference

The picanto is city car of the year and I have tested all the competition and bought the Picanto 3 with auto box.
Of that lot the Picanto is Car Of The Year 2019.
