- When I was at the Ohio cichlid Association extravaganza I was fortunate enough to pick up these beautiful fish. Paratilapia bleekeri is larger then the Paratilapia polleni, Madagascars finest cichlids from Maralambo. Enjoy these beautiful juveniles from the Nosivolo river.
Cool patterns on these guys, Madagascar has some great fish and plants.
They're like a fine wine they'll only get better in time.
Very beautiful fish amazing.like it friend.

Great video on the cichlids. Thanks for sharing. I had no idea they were on the endangered species list.
RV THANKS for stopping by.
Polleni's are nice too
Yes they are!!
Beautiful fish ! 😎💪
Thanks
Nice pickups my friend and merry Christmas
Joe hello thank you and Merry Christmas to you also.
Very nice
Nice... just picked up 11 1-2" of them. Looking to breed them this time around. I had 8 of them a year or so ago. Have one male left. About 9" right now. I bought small spotted. Not the rare large spot. Last batch I got was in 2+" range and were black from store. These new guys are still grey..
That's awesome, hope you get a pair out of the group.
Very nice I need a pair......
If I can get them to start breeding maybe I can ship you some.
They sure are beautiful Rob....happy holidays dude....❄️❄️❄️❄️
They are like a fine wine. Merry Christmas to you.
I thought they had ich on them when they were in the bags because of all the white dots Lol They are beauties!
Yes I can completely understand why you would think that. Fortunately it wasn't just gold and blue specks.
Good looking fish, love the color change. Keep us updated as they grow. 👍
Codyson I sure will.
lovely!+
Dazzling wave thank you.
Fantastic Madagascar cichlids Rob...i love Paratilapia...small spot and large spot ....bleekeri and polleni...great new fish for your aquarium...happy new year my friend.

Hiya Rob! Beautiful fish! I love them catfish too! You sound so.happy to have these guys. I had to laugh at the 3 day plant update :) This video has s fantastic feelgood vibe. Love it!
Yes I'm completely stoked about having these guys. When I was at the OCA Extravaganza they were on the top of my list to get.
Hi Rob... beautiful additions!! I love the little cats too. Comic relief of the tank! Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas to you also, love the Synodontis petricola they are great aquarium cleaners of extra food left behind by fish.
These are really cute fish! So much for the plants being organized 😁 that is really cool how they change to dark like that. They will be cool to see as they develop to adulthood. Your tank looks great!
I mixed some black gravel in the tank it totally changed the look of the tank and the fish.
@@roundedrob1483 amazing how that works! Thanks for sharing with us.
whatup new friend merry christmas
Wildman from Richards stream ok cool brother thanks for stopping in.
Lol they didn’t like the plants too much!
They took a wrecking ball to them.
Interesting fish. Are they a CARES fish? Thanks for the vid Rob!
That's a good question I'm thinking there not I got them from the OCA Extravaganza. Not the cares program. They are endangered in the wild I think there's a pretty good population in the hobby.
I don't understand why African cichlid aren't popular in my country I can't even find jewel cichlid let alone this starry night cichlid😭
What country are you from??
@@roundedrob1483 U might be surprised because I'm from Cambodia literally bordering Thailand, the biggest aquarium exporter. Fish worth penny here but no one bring African cichlid into their store 😭
@@wabalaka1565 WOW, no kidding that's crazy. So close but yet so far.
My juvenile blackened up that early with a black substrate
I believe that would stimulate them to change up.
I have a bleekeri with me it's about just 2 inch size, when will it develop it's spot and black colour
Once they got used to the tank. They slowly started to color up as they grew. What other fish do you have with the little guy?
Aww I won't a fish tank
They are calming.
I bought a juvenile today. No color and no spots though very light stripes but thats it. How long would it take to see spots and black color to show
Well, when I acquired the seven that I have. Once they got conformable in the tank. Some started to color up right away and got darker. They are in a 55-gallon tank now. Should I do another video on them?
@@roundedrob1483 that would be great! Mine also darkened up a bit finally but no spots?
How small is it? Like a inch long?
@ads7686 Anyway, post a video of it!!
hey any update on your Madagascar cichlids? just wondering the growth rate.
That is definitely a video that needs to be done. Just to let you know as of today all of them are still alive. Doing well and looking spectacular.
When ever they grow out and you weed out the unwanted I'll snag em from you 😎👍
It all go's well maybe I can ship some to you.
How can I spawn them? I think I have a pair
How many do you have?
Any update on these?
Your right, I need to do one soon. For sure. Thank you
@@roundedrob1483 I've been enjoying the two I have but didn't presume they'd do well in a group. Has it worked for you?
@@thomaspinter8456 They are all still together.
Do you have any bleekeri for sale
No not yet they are starting to pair up. I need to do an update video.
How much for a pair
