The potassium sulfate can actually promote root growth. While the magnesium chloride could kill roots. I don't believe it would have the effect we were looking for. Unfortunately Sodium chloride is the best way to go.

@bkapc2955 If it's slow moving, you might want to use Green Gobbler mainline opener first. I did a video on this product. It will help get any toilet paper and poop out of the roots to help flow. Then, treat the roots with sodium chloride.
