Have you been adding the cubes to the top of the encounter decks when you draw compass chips? Unless I have the rules wrong, I feel like should have had a few of those cards drawn with all the compass chips you draw by this point.
Yep! Cubes have been going on the cards up to 3. The field event resolve is a ‘may’, you don’t have to. I’ll be showing field events in the next video. 😄
@@RollingSolo Thanks for the reply...I had thought once you had 3 cubes you 'had' to resolve a field event, not the first time I've messed a rule up in a game! Or maybe I love going thru event cards so just always took the option.
These videos are great, really enjoying them. I’ve backed the reprint and am excited to play myself. I have a question though - when enemies are targeting lowest defence, if Grigory has 2 and Alek has 1 but has a +1 from an activated ability, doesn’t that mean they both have 2 and it defaults to targeting Grigory because he has aggro? That’s what I’d assumed but is not how you’ve played it, but I can’t find anything clearer either way in the rulebook pdf or the Rulepop site
I dont get it, so thematically there are 2 enemies barreling down, one is engaging Alek. The enemy is hacking and slashing at Alek, but Alek decides to sit down on the ground, pull out beakers and ingredients and begins to craft potions? 🤔 I must be missing something...it makes no sense the way I am seeing it play out.
@RollingSolo I am planning to get it on May 1 when they re-release it on their site, I'm just going to have to pretend that Alek is a priest calling down divine intervention to add chips into the bags 😅

Really enjoying the playthrough. I love the mechanics of this game.
Woohoo! Glad to hear that. Been having fun with this one. Sounds like it’s a good fit for you!
Should you activate Gregory chain ability on 41:30?
Thank you for sharing! How do you keep track of skill upgrades, especially as you start unlocking more and more?
Missed this but I would reference the rulebook as it has great breakdowns for keeping track of changes!

Nope don’t have to if you’re on the go as I was. However, field events lean towards being good so it doesn’t hurt to interact with them!
@@RollingSolo they are "may" but in my experience, you almost ALWAYS want to do it. Most of them are minor to majorly beneficial.
@@blakecurry3880 Indeed! That's what I mentioned above 😉

My understanding is that it refers to the default value of their defense on their character dashboard but I can see what you mean!

That’s fair haha
I imagine it differently but I can see what you mean. Gameplay on the bag building side is very cool in this one.

🤣🤣
I fall asleep from that forteller.
It’s very well done and can be soothing too! Let me guess, you were watching in bed or on the couch? 🤣
