Hola cómo hizo eso
Cool to learn about what all the signs mean! LEDs look great too
Thanks, we need to get you to venture down the led path now 😀.
Spectacular and what is the most impressive, how you include and replicat every singly airport detail, that us who don't work there, don't have a clue about. 😎
Thanks, figure what better way to share my daily job then thru Lego :)
Outstanding. My uncle worked at JFK for TWA. Yes, it was a long time ago. I know nothing about airports but you just gave a crash course.
Oh wow JFK is another huge airport. Never been to it but will someday.
Looking super outstanding Daryl, and very well explained the layout and lighting. Great information video of your airport. Keep on bricking it up Daryl 👍.
Thanks man I appreciate it.
Hammer. You are Crazy. I am very Impressed. Fantastic 👍… Liebe Grüße Frank
Thank you 😊
@@BevinsBricksWorld You have a Fan Group in Germany🤗. We are all very amazed at the Great Projekts you always do. Sorry, my english ist Not the best. 🙈.. have to learn better..
Dein Englisch ist perfekt mein Freund. Vielen Dank, dass Sie meinen Kanal angesehen und versucht haben, auf Englisch zu antworten, es wird sehr geschätzt.
Thank you and hello from the USA.
nice MOC Daryl have a great weekend
Thanks Nate hope you have a great weekend as well.
I’m also an electrical guy, I did mostly car electrical but have also done home stuff. You really did a nice job on all the lights
Thanks,
Awesome. Can't wait to see the finished project.
Thanks Steve
Very detailed 😄👍
Thanks
Really nice! Like a real thing.
Thanks, that's what I always aim for, realism :)
madman! happy i was here for the ride though. man your city will be a world record one day i hope. it deserves that. much
Thanks, I wonder if there is a world record size for a Lego city
Extraordinary!
Thanks
Looks beautiful
Thank you 😊
As always, looks fantastic!!! I’m going down the rabbit hole of lighting now myself! 🤦🏻♂️We shall see where this takes me! Great video!👍😎
Lighting is just like Lego and can kill the pocket book.
Looking great my friend ♥
Thanks
hey Mike ♥️
Amazing job!
Thanks
Wow. Ive seen this a million times but never with such great commentary. I learned a lot. Thanks Daryl.
Thank you, my goal is to make it the most accurate airport.
Excellent work on this!
Thanks
My favorite lego master builder 👷♂️
Thanks Juan :)
awesome airport
Thank you
Wow I blink when you turned the lights off and thought I was looking out a window of an airplane. Details are awesome
Haha thanks buddy, hope your doing well.
Really cool build!
Thanks 😊
honesty never seen anything lego this cool amazing work!!
Thanks 😊
This is awesome!
Thanks
Well I would sure hope you win an award because I don't including myself would even try to attempt building this!! Amazing!!
No never showed it anywhere.
Absolutely amazing ! Never saw anything like this....Love it !
Thanks, can't wait to get more of my buildings Illuminated and back in my city.
Wow you've come a long way, I watched you when you were just starting out and you're still making great models to this day, also congrats on 25k!
Hello and yes I remember you as well. You have been commenting since I first started back in the basement. :)
There's bedrooms that are smaller than this airport hahaha. Awesome job on the airport! 😇
Lol yeah I've had them myself growing up. Thank you 😊
Great update Daryl. Really glad to see you back enjoying Lego. From the outside it felt like you got so over invested in the community and live streams that you lost your passion for building.
I love these short update videos and hope they can bring your channel the exposure it deserves.
Thanks, still debate on a regular basis not posting anymore at all. The biggest frustration for me is how it's seems the only Lego channels that get good views are the ones that focus on set building and reviews.
@@BevinsBricksWorld the ones that really frustrate me are the ones about shopping!
But point taken about the reviews. Aside from content though, i do wonder if format will impact. The super long live streams seem great for the small community of diehards. I think where a lot of these channels succeed is getting the casual viewers with shorter focused videos.
Lol yeah I don't understand the shopping trips myself. I've tried a few also and feel like a idiot lol. Yeah I'm hoping the new format will make things change a bit. But only time will show that. I do know that the live streams were very damaging to anylitics.
@@BevinsBricksWorld I would have to think that as UA-cam tries to keep TikTok at bay, they will continue to promote the short stuff to the masses.
Heck the Livestream themselves probably work better on twitch which is really geared for that audience
Well there is a lot of research that shows using UA-cam shorts also damages a channel. So much in fact that UA-cam has separated shorts from your typical Analytics. My personal feeling on it is this, with Tick Tock being so outrageously popular it is affecting views for people on UA-cam unless they are willing to conform to the new short style formats.
Very cool
Thanks
You are truly talented!
Thanks
@@BevinsBricksWorld lego airport build has always been one of my bucket list challenges. Sky harbor airport (phx az,) has been my goal to Model after.
I'll look into that airport as I've never heard of it before. Keep in mind I'm only familiar with airports because I work at DTW and YIP airports.
That‘s not just the biggest but also the most accurate LEGO Airport on UA-cam! Spectacular work Daryl! I can’t wait to see this amazing build completed!
Thanks so much I appreciate it.
0:50 this made me laugh a little
Thats exactly how the t3acher taught us the light coding in class. Made me never forget it lol
Dang amazing airport, teach me your ways!🙏🔥
Thanks 😊
The work you've put into this airport is just staggering. The details are incredible. Its amazing
Thanks so much I appreciate it.
Whoa this is epic
Thanks 😊
I love this you are a good creator
Thanks 😊
Nice summary and man I learned a lot about runways that I did not know before. Thanks for the tour and the knowledge.
Thank you 😊 and thanks so much for watching.
Wow, this is amazing! Great job!
Thanks
That’s not too shabby at all it puts my puny model airport on my channel to shame oh well. Great content.
Thanks and hey we all have to start somewhere. Can always add as you go 😀
Incredible! I love the runway lights and how they are different colors in different sections, very cool and interesting.
Thanks, figured are a bit of what I do for a live thru Lego :)
Message to Beyond The Bricks, you need to showcase/interview Bevins Bricks!
I am on there with my avengers Tower:)
Wow the best lego Airport ever. Amazing 🤩
Thanks my friend
Your creativity is unlimited 🔥 I can't get my eyes of rhe intricate airport designs, and your plane fleet impresses me! I recommend my content 🧡
Thanks I appreciate it.
That's "AMAZING" Daryl ..... I'd love to see some planes landing & taking off on wires *Cough* Also what else I noticed is that because the bricks used in the Airport are some Old , Some new it gives it a cool aged look 👍🏻
Yes I want to stage 1 plane on a take off or landing. I'm thinking a takeoff would look better. It will end up being the only thing in my city using batteries :)
@@BevinsBricksWorld Cool Daryl , Have you thought about having service vehicles moving around too ?
Yes but will likely never do it.
Can you make a big ocean and add some war ships fighting
Wow! The detail is amazing. You must work at an airport as a electrician.
Thanks and yes I do :)
this guy should get more subscribers..
Thanks 😊
MAD RESPECT MAN, I CAN'T EVEN DO THAT BC OF LOSS OF LEGO
Thanks 😊
Awesome work man brings back a lot of memories did you make alpha to quebec. I was gonna ask about the red and white lights but you only have them on the one end. I didn't see them on the other end .Like I said this is a lot of a lot of time, a lot of money and a s*** load of legos. I'd like to come over one day and give your shop a visit and check out your Hot Wheels and your comic books maybe I have something that you might like cause I collect both
It would be cool but man to match the airfield I would need to use my entire display space. To match everything right the runways would need to be about 24 ft in length for all the turn offs. Don't know anyone would appreciate it as much as we would.
Absolutely awesome looks so real congratulations.
Thanks Mom 👩😘
Wow daryl that is the most realistic airport model it does not look like it’s lego
Thanks man that is the ultimate compliment as I shoot for making things appear as real as possible.
I love the Airport fire vehicle? Is this selfmade or is there an instruction for it?
A friend designed it for me yes
Spectacular!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you
heres my sub great!
Thanks 😊
This Lego airport kinda reminds me of Accra kotoka international airport
Not familiar with that airport, this was modeled after the evans terminal at DTW
Wow wee wow wow!!! Looks fantastic
Thanks Kevin
It's impressive! How easy would it be to take to a show?
If you made cabinets to hold all the baseplate fairly easy. Not sure I would ever bother though.
@@BevinsBricksWorld No, it's probably too much hard work and effort given the size. It's just a shame not to show it off.
Well I look at it this way if it's not interesting enough to get a lot of views on youtube it's not worth taking it to a show 😀
This is amazing! I don't think I've seen your airport lit up before because I haven't seen all of your vids and never had time to watch your long ones/live streams, and it's truly fantastic! I'm enjoying these shorter updates/overviews. Great work :D
I removed all my Live streams due to lack of interest. But I do usually show the lighting in all city update videos also :)
Very Nice! When wiring up modular buildings in your city for lights does each building/mils plare have a wire that runs to the edge of your table somewhere or do you run wires down through the table top to be connected to a power source underneath?
I'm gonna do a video soon that will explain all that better but yes it's a combination of thru the table and building bases.
@@BevinsBricksWorld I'll keep my eye out for that for sure. Also wondering, on the topic of lighting, what was your feedback after trying Blinky Bricks new "wireless power connectors" between floors of the modular buildings?
I honestly have not tried to use any yet. I'm finishing up a building now though that will be perfect for them. It's my large apartment building. Hoping to have it done over the next few days. I'll try the connectors on that building.
I cannot wait to see the fire station on it.looks great my friend
Thanks, still need the tower and a hangar also.
First class. Superb attention to technical details and loads of design elements making it fun, interesting and inspiring. Such a vast component of your City shows off the importance and influence of the well-thought-out lighting you have introduced. This is exceptional. I follow a few large-scale lego city builders on youtube and your consistency, creativity, attention to design detail and exciting ambition is always way ahead of the rest. Take a bow !
Thank you so much I appreciate that. Thanks for the support and for watching:)
You still need an ARFF (Aircraft rescue and firefighting) Fire station 😉
Maybe at some point.
Cool 😎 airport
Because it takes hardwork
Thanks
Holy cow mate! Also, I heard you based this off of the North Terminal at my local airport DTW, nice!
That's where I work as the electrical boss for both willow run and metro Airport.:)
@@BevinsBricksWorld Nice! My dad worked there as well. He was a fuel driver. He didn't refuel the planes, but he drove the tanker truck to the airport and stuff. He left before '09 I think, not sure as I was like 5 or something.
Oh very cool 😎
Wow!!just wow ❤❤🎉🎉😊😊😮😮
Where is JANET Airlines going to be placed?
That's classified 😀
Looking Great My Friend ♥
Thanks
Very cool! Those firetrucks definitely need some strobe lights!
Absolutely
Man I’ve said this time and time again but your airport is what got me hooked on your channel. It’s the absolutely best and most detailed LEGO airport. As you know I’ve worked in aviation for 20 years now and it never gets old. Just outstanding work on that gigantic build.
Thanks buddy, airports are cool but hog a ton of space to make accurate. Once the lead in lights are added the runway on this will actually be 14 ft lol.
@@BevinsBricksWorld if takes you space but definitely adds to the city. It looks so great.
Thanks buddy, yeah I always wanted a realistic airport as you see people build them all the time but they are usually way to small. As most lack the space to do it right.
As a 30-yr airline employee, this is nothing short of impressive. Good job explaining the airfield markings & signs. The average traveler has no idea that EVERYTHING they see out there actually means something.
What airline ? Thanks, Im an electrician for wcaa at DTW so knowing the airfield is requirement for my job :)
@@BevinsBricksWorld Ground Ops for Southwest at TPA
@TangoSierra888 oh Im jelous, year round warmth. The issue we have here is like now, with all the snow, we get a lot of damage to signs and edge lights from the plows.
@@BevinsBricksWorld I don’t miss that weather at all. Worked at CMH for several years, left & never looked back!
It's always a great day when you do a update video on your airport. As with every one of your builds your attention to detail is way beyond impressive. And the lights just add to the whole realism of the build. Fantastic video and awesome job explaining everything about the details to the ones like myself who have no idea what everything at a airport is for. As always thanks for sharing buddy.
Thanks man, it's still got a long way to go but really happy with the progress I've made on it so far. Will be real fun once I get the lead in lights and such installed as well.
@@BevinsBricksWorld it still blows me away everytime you show all the lights for the airport. Its amazing how the lights bring so much life to the build.
To me lights make builds amazing. It's can be a simple building but add lights and it's wow.
An under-the-table scene of the rainbow tunnel connectiong Concourse A, B, and C would be sweet. Your airport is one of the unique builds that keeps me coming back. Keep up the great work.
That would be awesome, but that is what is part of the Macnemara Terminal, this was modeled after the North Terminal, now called the Evans Terminal. :)
2nd
Lol
How???😂
Any idea what that costed to make?
No Idea, Ive been collecting for 25 years so the cost for me would be much different than someone trying it now.
I can not be the only 1 that thinks he sounds like cleveland brown right?😂
This is absolutely inspiring. I am planning the first major upgrade, including layout and lighting for my airbase, which has many similarities (albeit science fiction). Would love your feedback so I can plan how to adapt, possibly using your system.
Sounds awesome, as for lighting my syatem is all plug and play. The big thing I always remind people of is no more than 100 leds on a citcuit.
It’s missing two towers that are twins and it’s missing a miltary base
Great video 😃👍 love how you explain the details
👊😃 it was a joy to watch
Thanks
Awesome stuff! With all the detail, you wouldn’t happen to be an airline worker, would you? 👀
-Delta ramp agent, CMH
I'm the electrical supervisor over 2 airports :)
I just love the hyper realistic touches, this sets your airport apart even more than the size. Nice to see you care about the safety of your lego passengers with their hyper functional airport.
Thanks, I manage the electrical department for 2 airports so its important to make things as accurate as possible
What is the piece number of all the flat plates on the runway
Absolutely amazing!!✈️
Thanks 😊
Nice brilliant video
Thanks
Just fantastic mate. Keep it going 😊 I love the Airplane clip 😂😂😂
Lol thanks, I was gonna add a few more but didn't want to go over the top with it. :)
@@BevinsBricksWorld that would be impossible 😂 surely you can’t be serious? It’s a truly inspirational build mate. I wish I had the space for just a large airport.
Don't call me surely lol 😆 Thanks, yeah I think that I every lego builders biggest problem is a lack of space to build what they truly want to.
@@BevinsBricksWorld lack of space and funds for it these days 😂
Yeah Lego has raised prices so high they are starting price people our of the hobby all together.
This is amazing the tarmac looks great even the runway and it looks like the real things if you make a tutorial to how to make the one with the number strip on the right of the runway or the signs I would give you a subscribe and post notifications
Thanks 😊
WOW! And the North Terminal is so much like the real Detroit airport’s North Terminal!!!!!
Thanks yes that is what it is modeled after 😀
So awsume man. Haveing a big space to build sume thing as big is awsume I love your creativity aspect plus as U work at a air port I guess that kinda help it look so awsume with the lights on. So good 😊👌🔥💥👍
Having the space is key, most sadly don't. Working as an electrician at the airport definitely helps with the lighting :)
Can You Say "WOW"? Way to go Daryl !!!
Thanks, waiting to see if it gets any real views.
Ok. I'm amazed. I love this theme. I build model planes. The light is so cool. Well done sir.
Thanks so much !
This. Is. Amazing.
Thanks
I think Brick Crafts should see this
You need to do some vamases, tractors 0 turns Maybe a little bit of construction on the taxi way with the mill, dump trucks roller ashpalt, just keep on doing it man. keep on doing it But the taxi ways look too real you need to put some black patches in there like it looks like what I left that place
They actually have repaved most of the airport since you left. They even made papa the full length of 21R. But yes some construction crews and paint crews would be awesome. I'll have to put some thoughts into making vamus for winter time as I'm sure most have never seen vehicles like that.
First vid I've seen from this channel but I absolutely love this airport!!
Thanks
That’s just fantastic!
Thanks 😊
just wow. amazing. your airport is bigger than me lego town. id love to see you build a detailed prison at some stage.
Thanks, hmm that's a build I have never thought about before 😀
Probably your next big job is to make a train station for this airport. A lot of airports are accessible by trains....
I have a large train station already, my next large project is a daily bugle Toby McGuire version. Here is a video on it, I plan to make a better video soon. This video is from when I first started ua-cam.com/video/rWIpev2MUOo/v-deo.html
I thought to myself it resembled Detroit Metro and sure enough, LOL!
Lol, yeah north terminal, I just didnt mess with the end pieces that are on a angle
Awesome airport Daryl, wow even has its own Brick G cellphone tower
Thanks, cell service is very important in Angelville :)
