The lack of respect for Roma is ridiculous, they were 5-0 down at one point yet the game ended 7-6, it’s been a great run in the competition for roma.
Alexis Bad Boy Sanchez feel you but liverpool was fucking around , one goal came from a penalty and an own goal roma played terribly
Why the fuck did they concede 5 goals in the first place? If the team was oh so sparkling great, they wouldnt need crazy fucking comebacks every game.
youdontknow da1/2 two penalties
One goal offside for roma ref didnt call it
Four of their goals(including 2 debatable penalties) came in the last 10 minutes of both games when Liverpool did a job on them & rested on their laurels.
These guys clearly didn't watch ucl last season Bayern did complain about the referees decisions in the 2nd leg of Madrid tie
Fosi-Fondanwi Ajene nowhere near as blown up as Roma, but that’s because the Marcelo handball is 50/50, some games it would be given some games it wouldn’t.Not much they can complain about that. They just wasted a billion chances against Real
Muhammad Adli Arif incorrect, Vidal was wrongly set off, Casemiro was on a yellow whilst making malicious tackles but the referee refused to produce the second yellow, not to mention the glaringly obvious offside goals Real scored
huh, funny how you don't mention how Vidal's horrendous tackle earlier on in the game should have gotten him sent of before? I agree with the fact that Casemiro should have been sent off, but don't bring up offside goals. Ramos' own goal, where Lewa touched the ball first, the bayern players were offside when they touched it, and the penalty that Casemiro conceded, he touched the ball, so that wasn't the penalty. The only 2 legit goals in that game were Ronaldo's header and Asensio's solo goal.
Dan is a muppet.
I can understand Nicol cause his biased but how the others not see Gab has a point
He's a fkin fake fan ill give you that much, guy has been talkin sht all year last year and only now he think they're decent
how can all three of them have the same perspective on such an issue. Gab is telling the truth but they're trying to avoid it, thats why they quickly cut away from that french guy (insert name here) when he started supporting Gab
Dont put a music background when the analysts are speaking, in some devices and when you listen to the video in open spaces the voices get lost to the music 😪
Melodica S being a producer for a small UA-cam channel I have learned that you have to make your videos for every type of interface, device, audience and demographic; yes, the ideal would be to listen a interview in a quiet and low noise place and with earphones preferably, but you have to understand many, if not most, of the audience will not have the optimal conditions to watch your content
As a Liverpool fan I mean I get it I would be crossed at the result and refereeing in that match, The ref made mistakes on both sides and its hard to disagree that Roma were hard done on the day, I feel like Roma has more than the right to be upset they lost a clear penalty, and that would have made it 7-7, Im glad Liverpool went through and respect for Roma for fighting till the end.
Trents Handball
Exactly though its a whole what if, if it were reversed and we were denied a clear pen I would be livid
authentic Roma fans will watch the Champions League final from the couch
Randall Mulkins see a respectable Liverpool fan! 👏👏👏
True that
You guys are out of your mind. You're entitled to your own opinion, but disrespect is ridicoulous.
The host of the show with that smirky face interrupting the italian guy was awful. Refs are terrible this year and they clearly favour the bigger team so VAR might have to be implemented.
After this Gab is looking like a cult hero 😂
To say a semifinal team is a bad team??? Wtf they are a very good team and they just went out 7 6 and had 2 clear penaltys taken away.....they got a compensation penalty in the end which shows the referee knew what he was doing!
fuck off man...you lost DEAL WITH IT!!!!
Yo u had two penalties that weren't penalties, and you had two penalties not given
anand chowdhury You lost??? I am not a Roma fan far from it!
Then why are you crying like a bitch?? DEAL WITH IT!!
Fuckin trash, how was the milner penalty wrong? He didnt even argue it.
No one remembers when Bayern complained about vidal getting wrongly sent off last year
Not being funny but roma and there fans should be happy getting knocked out with what the scoreline was on aggregate in the end. Near all of there goals were bs apart from one. 2 pens that shouldn't of been awarded, a extremely lucky deflection of milners head and a awful mistake from lovren as well as karius. Roma didn't outplay liverpool once over the two ties so i cant understand how romas fans can feel hard done by. The better team went through.
So Liverpool losing 4-2 in Rome isn't getting outplayed?
Kimmich complained in the mixed zone 4 eyes
2:08 that face on the right side!😂
Why is the music louder than their mic?
say what you what this bunch speaks their mind and are entertaining!!
ESPN is a joke , I’m a Roma fan , Liverpool deserved to go through and both teams had decisions against them. But the disrespect to Roma is so unprofessional and they only got tunnel vision how “bad” Liverpool were to let Roma back in the games. I just can’t take guys like this seriously , I’m sorry
When bad refereeing benefits Real Madrid, fukin end of the footballing world. Bad refereeing benefits an English club, deal with it....What great analysts these people are...
It depends on the extend. Liverpool did not receive the type of benefit like what Real got against Bayern last season. Poor decisions against both team, Liverpool outperformed Roma. Deal with it.
Actually if you listened to the previous segments and now, they've been argueing for RM and LFC. Juventus, Napoli and Roma been complaining like bitches
these pundits are motherfuckers except gab
MLS players think they know football
Nicol is being ridiculous, in every big game where there are controversial decisions, players and coaches complain immediately after the game
Lol! I'm starting to like Gab more and also started to understand how biased and kiddish the other panelists are. Most football fans saw the games and its a wide spread opinion that referees are doing a bad job in making the correct decisions which changes the output of the game. You cant decicde which team is better with an improper referee. Its a semifinal for gods sake. How much longer are you going to b supporting BS like this
A show filled with arrogance coming from both the host and the rest of the panel.
Liverpool would of been given a pen for the push on Mane in the second leg. And their 2 pens where not pens at all. Wasn’t just Roma that didn’t get the correct decisions during both legs. Liverpool deservedly went through
Arnold had a poor game and he should have gave away penalty. The point is, decisions went against both teams and Liverpool outperformed Roma.
seriously ? at Anfield in last 10 mints u got some chance ( both your goals came after 80th minute as well).. before that it was all Liverpool.. and at Roma.. first half was 55-45% game .. second half was Totally Roma dominating.. so overall : Liverpool : 80+45 = 125 minutes of domination >> Roma : 10 + 45(given first half to both in Roma leg) +45 = 100 ! so your point of Roma dominating Liverpool is nullified mate.. and why are you moaning about the result ? Liverpool were clearly better team overall. No Doubt Roma performed really well and is equally good . I also agree about Referees , all the referees in the world be it from Spain,England,Germany or even Italy.. all are bad.. the overall refereeing quality has been really bad. But this should not put blame on Liverpool .. and also bad decision is not just against one country..
Michele Frisoli liverpool had 80 mins of 100% obliteration 1st leg and 50 mins of obliteration 2nd leg
Liverpool killed em
Michele Frisoli not really. Liverpool should have ended it first half
The moment roma scored the 2nd they started to dominate
No roma fan or club member ever accused UEFA for fixture, they just accused UEFA for not having VAR in 2018
7-6 scoreline is misleading, Liverpool was a better team...
yeah one goal better
"The whole world thinks they are crying" I think they haven't seen their comment sections...
Champions league this season has been hard to watch
Could have, should have, would have.... Just bring VAR to Champions League; simple.
I'd concentrate on calling Roma players and executives whiners after your awful analysis was brought to light. Who cares if Roma or Liverpool got any calls? Most people were annoyed with how went about slandering Roma with extremely lazy and biased 'analysis'? You'd think Roma lost 4-2 in the second leg the way you guys babbled about. And then the embarrassment in your face is seen when you need to yell at Gab bc he's actually talking in facts.
Look at what happened to city, juve and now Roma. The fact that a team wins a game does not mean it was better than the other.
Ali Bryte if you want to tell me roma was the better team you are a better comedian than thomas muller bro :)))) roma was a far far inferior team
ESPN is a joke. This panel talk so much disrespect and nonsense. The only one who actually knows anything is gab. Never watching espn again
Both Liverpool and Roma got calls for them and agaisnt. Roma are fucking salty, never seen so much salt coming from a club.
Liverpool don't deserve to be in final...fucking ref helped them a lot
how can all three of them have the same perspective on such an issue. Gab is telling the truth but they're trying to avoid it, thats why they quickly cut away from that french guy (insert name here) when he started supporting Gab
The funny thing about this video is Steve Nicol's arrogance and smugness throughout the discussion will soon turn to dispair when his beloved Liverpool gets smashed by Real Madrid in the final. Just compare the midfields to know that's going to happen. I wonder if Moreno, Nicol, Dan-boy and Stevie will be saying that Liverpool is not really a good side after Madrid beats them 4-0. I bet they won't!!! Liverpool's best player is a player who struggled at Chelsea and at Roma over the last 2 years.
What if roma got these two goals and i wonder what would these people have to say
talang wayoo the clubs voted against var they have only got themselves to blame
Roma and their executives are not serious at all
who da feck is this guy with glasses, hes the first to criticize calls. Id like to see him run up and down the pitch once...
marcotti as ridiculous as ever
No one respects Roma more than ESPN.
The point is simple: We need Var. That's it. Just look at yesterday europa league semifinal and that goal from a corner that didn't even exist. I still personally think that Liverpool was the better team ( not by a lot like everyone else is saying, but they were ), but hearing shit by noname Moreno like " Roma is not a very good team " when they still got to the semi by beating a decent to good team ( a team that won 2 out of their 3 trophies this season ) is quite funny.
Zakk Stefani the clubs voted against it end of last yr its there fault
ESPN FC is a joke lmao
Respect for Roma but you cant act like Liverpool won by sitting down and having a cup of tea during the match...both teams worked hard!
This is genuinely sad and pathetic. I enjoy the banter and chemistry between these guys but their analysis and bias is disgusting. Never was a fan of Nicol, though, could take a page from Gerrard's book of unbiased punditry.
Did you guys see how much they all blink? Or is it just me
Daniel Sanchez yeah I noticed after the French guys was blinking like freaking crazy
Daniel Sanchez yeah Jules blinks a lot. Maybe the lighting in his room is too much
This is ridiculous, smh
Liverpool earned it , all i hear is cry cry cry sore losers
its why it took Liverpool fans 3 hours to be able to exit the stadium after the match.
www.espn.com/soccer/club/as-roma/104/blog/post/3481936/roma-restored-pride-created-new-memories-and-raised-expectations-with-champions-league-run
This is how much there where whining , man this experts live in a bauble . Gab deserve the job nobody else
The ref was bs both sides
Scots shouldn't talk about whining. Still complaining about a fix that was not taken by ref in Roma -Dundee 3-0 35 years later in CL semifinal, when scottish team was outclassed on the field
If bayern players are not complaining then... they shud be. That dsnt justify the handball not being given for roma. They have every right to cry abt the decision.
What bunch of wankers ESPN pundits are. Bravo Gab
Liverpool was way better over the 2 legs
As usual the 3 or 4 EPL fanboys against the one Italian commentator. These British football 'experts' did not even mention once that Roma went 0-5 down at Anfield simply because they got tyheir formation wrong. Playing 3-5-2 was suicide against a side that only counter attacks and has fast wingers. Once Roma went to 4-3-3 in the last 20 minutes, Liverpool didn't toiuch the ball and Roma scored twice. Then in Rome, Roma again played 4-3-3 and Liverpool LOST 4-2. The way these guys talk you'd think Liverpool won the tie 7-0! These ESPN guys are a bunch of clowns - thankfully they have Gab Marcotti on the show to provide at least some balance to their obvious bias. Dan Thomas, Steve Nicol, Shaka and Craig Burley would be crying like stuck pigs if LIverpool lost and copped those poor decisions - hypocrites
Your analysis is very unfair
Not today xDDD
I really didn't want Roma to get 5 penalties, that's ridiculous, even if they're all justified, no team wants to win like that but if your team can't defend without penalties then hey... But if the game was called properly, Liverpool would have had 10 men (on two occasions) and the game would have been much, much different. Did Roma completely screw up the tactics? Yep, that was embarrassing. Did we shoot ourselves in the foot early in the 2nd leg? Yep. But these clowns are implying Roma didn't do anything, it was all Liverpool. What the fuck. ESPN are just so damn bad in Every. Single. Sport. They. Cover.
that's ok , liverpool will get it in the ass in the final from RM
wow clueless and disrespectable people making fun of the only man who actually knows something. is ESON turning into a joke ? will neverwatch this again
1966
Roma is not very Good Team?? They blind or what,, Roma Won 4-2 and just lost 1 goal on 6-7 Aggegrat and we just Comeback Against Barcelona so The statement From Alejandro who the hell he name is not uncaptable and is not fair hes have not Respect on Roma #ForzaRoma
Michele Frisoli ok thanks for the correction but iam very Uncaptable on he said
Michele Frisoli yeah :') as As Roma fans iam very Uncaptable on hes statement iam not Italian iam Indonesia but this is very Uncaptable and unrespected what a Joke ESPN have not Professional Analysist #ForzaRoma
Stirrer
Yes , and they also don’t want to admit that there were decisions that played a major part in their favor ! But they weren’t good enough to pass through Liverpool to the Champions League Final ! That’s why they’re all whining and crying about the result !
This guy is a clown
The only reason why Roma scored 6 goals is "Liverpool took their feet off the gas. Most Roma goals were cheap goals" Be grateful roma
lmao, roma's board are salty af
bring milan back, they deserve to be in the champions league compared to the romans
If mane got the penalty and scored, it would have been 2-0, Roma would have been dead and burried.
Yup, plus Roma handballed in 1st leg, so it would have been 6 - 2 going into 2nd leg.
Great! that's why the point is about FUCKING VAR, we're not arguing about who should have won, we're just saying the game would be better with VAR.
Gale Wings I absolutely agree with VAR implementation and Liverpool will largely join you for the cause. But when Roma fans focus on the decisions against them and claim they were robbed then you guys lost me.
If Roma wanted VAR, you need to show me how they push for that BEFORE the season start, and not after they lost; every team went into the tournament knowing there isn't VAR, so to start now make them look like hypocrites.
That's not my point. I never said Roma was robbed, even if the unlucky calls were more heavily against them. My point is more about the fact that these ESPN goons are being disrespectful in dismissing the Romans in support of VAR. I don't think that a major loss on account a chaotic game of bad calls on both sides being the catalyst for Romans to be upset is unreasonable. I'm sure they would have been in favor beforehand, but such an impactful loss is a very good reason to start advocating more loudly for it. I'm positive Liverpool would have done the exact same thing if they hadn't won, which they were very close to doing.
Btw, I'm a Napoli fan not a Roma fan. While I don't think refs or Uefa are out to get Italian teams, I think that pundits like these on ESPN are incredibly biased. Notice how they say "Liverpool gave goals away" when Roma scores, but "Liverpool scored lot of goals" when Liverpool scores.
No one respects Roma more than ESPN.
