this one fucked me up. michael's mom seeing her baby boy one last time, seeing how deeply, deeply loved he is and knowing that all of this was worth it. alex begging michael to leave and live with him but completely ready to stay and die with him as well. whatever was gonna happen it was gonna happen with them together. alex is done being apart from michael, life or death.

I don't know how anyone, the writers included, can say Michael and Alex aren't the core emotional romance of the show at this point. They've been thrown every major obstacle their way so far, but their love only grew stronger as a result. Alex was 100% willing to die with Michael if it came down to it and Michael pushed him away in order to save his life because he knew his heart would never recover if he lost Alex forever.

They are the best. Liz and Max are clearly the main couple as far as plot and screen time. Unfortunately. (Liz is great, max is an idiot)

Yea cause I the original I believe it was Michael and Maria who were together. So it's kinda scary to see them hooking even more so when you notice he smiles a lot more when he's around her.

alex was an amazing part of some horrible memories for Michael and being with him reminds him of that so he’s trying to move in and let maria be the future bit idk i think he go back to alex next season

The problem Michael has is he loves Alex too much and will always go back to him, but like you said the painful memories always came back and alex didn't help by treating him like shit. He's only with her cause it's easy I think he just wants to mess around and forget about alex for a second.

As someone who really didn't watch any TVD or Originals after TVD s3/4 and barely tried Originals... can you explain what the Klaroline plot was?
@@SilverAlaunt Klaus and Caroline were two characters with insane chemistry and there was tons of hints that they could have been a great match. They even admitted it and kissed a couple times. But the writers never gave them a proper relationship, in neither of the two shows, and Klaus dies so it’s over.
A Klaroline is a ship that writers hint but never actually happens and piss off fans because it could have been really great ^^
I don’t think it’s the case for Alex and Michael because they are a central storyline from the first episode. I really think that they’ll be a couple when they’ll be ready and it’s not now :-)

I really think the two actors had great chemistry. And Caroline knew he was not good for her but she wanted him (she admits it right before they had sex after seasons of sexual tension). And even after all that happened, they became really close friends. She wasn’t that happy when he died in The Originals and told him he wasn’t the villain of her story 🙂
But I agree with you. It’s not a love story. But it could have been. I mean look at Delena. Damon was clearly not good for Elena and had hurt her many times. But it was a great story to watch with a good character development. 🙂

Michael is the bisexual character and Alex is the gay character who have so much chemistry and energy that they dont end up together bc he hooked up with Alex and Liz friend and he started feeling her they even had sex in the desert yet i think he did bc of Alex did and he wanted too try and move on again thats why you dont see them in ep.13 with each when they promised to talk the next day he went to see his sister and brother and then the girl but not Alex so i hope season 2 they find a way back to each other
