    Boy the Tukwilla Valley sure has changed in 50 years. Used to be mostly farm land 50 years ago (picked many a strawberry and cucumber there) - now it's nothing but wall to wall warehouses. Used to deliver papers around Angle Lake (2:11)

    I remember flying Allegiant from Bellingham home to Honolulu back in 2016 on a 737; it was the smoothest nicest flight; I slept the whole way, a great flight. Allegiant has discontinued that though I think I read.

    The flight attendant made an extremely early cabin announcement after rotation! Nice takeoff!

      Yeah he didn't waste any time. I was surprised at how soon he made the announcements!

      I think on one of my flights to Honolulu I kept taking so many from the basket that when I was leaving the plane, the flight attendant gave me a full unopened pack to take with me!

    You now the 757 has de power when the pilot pulls back slightly on the throttle during take-off.

    Those engines runs on dead people's souls, just look at how much air and how fast those things suck through xD
    Also is this the full flight?

    I had almost forgotten that Delta had taken the ex-TWA birds.

    I flew this same aircraft, on the same route, on the same FN

    • @SIHAviation
      @SIHAviation  9 років тому

      Emiliano Padilla We've flown this route a lot. We picked this flight all the time because it was the 757. Now they've replaced it with 737s and I think 717s are flying it now too.

    No when he puts it the full throttle the main blades look like they stop and then start spinning again

    • @SIHAviation
      @SIHAviation  9 років тому +2

      Jordan Rankin It's just an illusion as the engine is spooled up

    •  7 років тому

      The same thing happened to the engine spinner's spiral.

    I have not flown since late January and the after takeoff announcements were not made until we were a good 7 minutes or so in the air. I hope this making the announcements immediately after takeoff was just a one time random event and not the new procedure for obvious reasons.........How do you and Mah584jr HD Aviation manage to keep the camera so still during the takeoff roll and landing? Using some sort of camera holder/post/tripod?

      We have flown Delta a good number of times recently (as you can probably tell) and they never made announcements that soon. It was messing up with recording the great engine sounds! haha I'm literally holding the iPhone with two hands trying to stabilize it. Sometimes it's easy, but sometimes the windows are in a weird location so I'm basically sitting sideways the entire time I'm recording and there are times when my arms are just killing me from holding them in the same position for that long.

      Epicblaze_Studios it's a old TWA bird.

      Strip off the winglets, splash it in red and black, and you've got a TWA bird again. I'm impressed that they've been able to keep them running since the 90s.. hopefully Delta continues to hold onto them!

    When on taking off why does the blades stop

    • @SIHAviation
      @SIHAviation  9 років тому +1

      Jordan Rankin The blades are spinning. What you're probably seeing are the static blades behind the main fan. Those don't spin.

    • @guitarplayerforu
      @guitarplayerforu 9 років тому

      what you are seeing is called the stroboscopic effect, where it looks like the blades are rotating in the opposite direction from their true direction. sometimes look like they're stopped aswell sometimes
