This is pretty close to my beliefs except light and dark are not taken or shunned more than the other. I have lived all this beyond most what I heard but it reminded growing up learning on my own what I am.

i didn't understand who are those demons ? my boss or my future girlfriend ?
Demons are metaphors, generally speaking, or aspects in other people who don't like us bc of their own insecurities, non self-awareness, insecure emotions (jealousy, envy, or any negative) & their own past hurt of hidden pains...
We shine with an inner light of truth & inadvertantly, shine a light on the insecurities of others, say...... that are dishonest. We mirror & magnify their imperfections towards them though usually, we don't mean to nor anger or hurt anyone. We are aware of our own imperfections, too as we age.. It is just a huge misunderstanding from my perspective, unfortunately, we endure.
