Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) is a broadcasting and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 634.0 meters (2,080 ft) in March 2011, making it the tallest tower in the world, displacing the Canton Tower and the second tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa (829.8 m/2,722 ft).

The construction of Tokyo Skytree was started on 14 July 2008. The Skytree was completed on 29 February 2012, with the tower opening to the public on 22 May 2012. The total cost of the Tokyo Skytree is reported to be about 65 billion JPY (806 million USD).
The design of this amazing tower is based on three concepts:
1 - Fusion of neofuturistic and the traditional beauty of Japan
2 - Catalyst for revitalization of the city
3 - Contribution to disaster prevention - “Safety and Security”

I've been to Tokyo Skytree during night time and it was so beautiful. Last year yun, and they had Hello Kitty installation.
Awesome video!!! I really needed this as I have plans to go to Japan next year (dapat this year but you know, the 'Rona came) and wanted an actual "things to do" by a fellow Filipino! Japan looks sooo good. Great vlog!
After watching the video, I realized that I can probably spend a day in Skytree going to every shop, nook, and cranny! I'd also need a lot of money for pasalubong and personal items! haha! Thank you for this tour! :)

Wow, Tokyo Skytree, eh? There really is a lot you can do in Japan! I watch a lot of anime but I haven't been to Japan yet. I'll visit this place when the world eases up on traveling. :)
東京スカイツリ, Lots of shops with variety of food and clothing brands to choose from. One of the first places that I visited in Tokyo!

This is actually on my bucket list when visiting Japan. Sayang lang, dapat we have a family trip to Japan pero dahil sa pandemic, hindi na natuloy. Hopefully by next year pwede na :)

A must see tourist destination! After you go up to the highest point on the tower, you get to take photos in a super cool area and they even take a photo for you with the mascot headband. It was so much fun. The base of the building has a big shopping centre with all kinds of authentic Japanese products such as animes and local food. Love this place
We're still debating whether to go to Seoul or Tokyo next year (if already possible) 😩

I have been around Tokyo before and heto nanaman ako with the feels, namimiss ko yung hotel namin na kitang kita yang tokyo skytree as a nice backdrop dun sa penthouse nung hotel... sana tho medyo j-pop na rin yung music para feel na feel ko talaga na nadun ako kahit via video ko na lang nakikita ang japan for now hahaha

Your Tokyo Sky Tree is well-researched. I like it they have staff there who can.take your photo. It's a big disappointment whem you or your.companion can't get a Good one when you're in a place you don't frequently go to.
