Thanks so much for joining for a few days of VAN LIFE in JAPAN! We're still in shock that we actually got to experience this 🤯 Felt so good to get back to van life, it is definitely our favourite way to travel- where would you like to see us experience van life next? 🚐 We really hope you enjoy the vlog! In case you missed it in the video, we are currently running a flash sale on Cheap Eats (our digital cookbook)! You can use the code BBQ30 for 30% off until the end of the month! We need more vloggers like you two. After seeing videos of terrible tourists visiting Japan for the first time and making foreigners look bad, this was very refreshing to watch. I visit Japan every year so you get to learn to respect the culture and the people and seeing you two act respectful to everything and that you’ve done your research on what to do and what NOT to do made me really happy. You guys got my respect. You got my sub ✌🏻
It's good to see you guys travelling overseas, especially to Japan. Yes, Japan is a very unique country. It is amazing and mind-blowing in many ways. We love Japan, especially the food, it's our food paradise. We have been three-time and now cannot wait to go back there in December to spend Christmas and NY in Japan 😊. Enjoy your travel in Japan..
Having been to Japan and experienced the politeness and cleanliness everywhere we went, you have inspired us to consider a 2 month van trip in the future. 🤔❤️🇦🇺🦘
Hi guys, loving the content. Being a massive fan of Japan and have been there a handful of times, I am keen to do what you guys are doing with travelling in a van over there. How good was Greg! Japan is an epic place with sooo much to do and see in all seasons. Keen for the next ep!
Awesome episode you two! Here’s a little poem called Greg. We are in a van In Japan That Mount Fuji Is a real doozie Bucket list dream I feel like a scream But being respectful We better be careful And keep out excitement in check Jack thinks those beary Are a little scary But not as bad as his coffee cup sneazy Braving the rain Was a bit of a pain But that view Was simply insane. Looking forward to the next episode.
Great adventure you are having. You have given me a thought about hiring a van to travel around. What is the driving like? Looking forward to your next video.
Hey Lynne definitely consider it. Driving was easy as nothing like Australia! Everybody was calm the roads just flow perfectly everyone follows the rules!
I was hoping that you would mentioned how it liked with road rules , was it similar to Sydney's and easy to drive there. In 6 weeks time will hit the roads of Japan 😅 on rental car. I've been studying road rules & signs seem OK. So looking forwards to this. 😁
Yes, Yes, Yes, Van Life is the way to go Jack and Megan so good to see you in the Van I thought the animal you wanted to see, would of been the panda bear, did you see any The big guinea pigs where so funny awesome video ❤❤❤
Good to see you 2 still loving van life!!! I'm really enjoying watching your adventures guy's!!! Jack watch out for the big bears mate 😂😂 . Thanks guy's, safe travels

I’ve just stumbled onto your channel- love you guys!! It’s so nice to find an Aussie travel channel; I must confess, I’m so used to all the American channels out there, that it took me a moment to process that you guys really didn’t have an accent & actually were Australian - looking forward to binge watching the rest of your videos now 😉😘😘
That suspension bridge reminds me of the one in Storms River in the Garden Route National Park, South Africa. Watch some youtube videos of it if you haven't already, it is beautiful.
😮wow what a van set up, incredible. Hard to show in rain, but where was the setup hidden for the power? 😊you guys rcso naturally really happy, so so me everywhere i travel!❤
Absolutely awesome view of Fuji! Very well done guys. Loved the vlog, loved the van! I've got a red bean brownie recipe (healthy!) I will make you guys some when you are back in Perth 😁 Jack, don't take the sleeping separately personally. Most people I know prefer sleeping separately at times. Men are really hot sleepers, women need more blankets.
This was a very interesting side of your Japan trip. It was great to see more country views, including Mt Fuji. The Van looked good and comfortable. Pity that there seemed to be a lot of rain during the trip. I don't think the Kangaroo was to bothered though. Anyway, keep having fun you two. Cheers Tony.
hi, just found you here after searching for camper vanning in Japan. i would just like to know the name of the zoo with capybara and tapir pls. thanks!
Whoa!! 500ah is living the dream! thats an insane amount of power! Absolutely lost it when you mentioned if one of the wooden things fell off the bridge. Great timing to say that hahaha How crazy is the Capybara! What an awesome episode. So stoked you included some drone footage of that lake near Mt Fuji. The whole place looked stunning! Hi Greg, bye Greg. Also, go to Canada. pls&thank
You both are doing well, sounds like you have nearly burnt yourself out, take some time to ground yourself again, we can wait, your health comes first. Love your videos, please yourselves first, then us. Opps, I’m sounding like a mother. Cheers welcome back to Oz, take care, Judy qld
Love your videos guys. Watch them religiously. And loving your overseas Asian tour. Just not liking the new camera with fisheye. Have to fast forward it, which is disappointing.
Thanks Luke! Luckily it’s only a few seconds every other video 🤣 you missed a cool shot on the suspension bridge though! We were proud of that perspective 😆
Despite the bear-phobia, I hope that you guys are going to go to Canada (and the US). I know that you guys will love it. We are hoping to go in 2026, so you need to go before then....lol
Those tinnies have 9% alcohol in them and there only $1.50 each 😮gee I'm moving over there ovesly their government dosnt tax them to the hilt like Australian government dos that tinny would be $8 each in Australia 😢 and the inside panels in that van are very thick bloody good insulation and sound proofing I recon and a beautiful van that one very nice gives folks back home some good ideas it's got so much in it and looks spacious and it's a short van amazing imagine doing that to a long wheel base one and having it 4wd too 👍 I Can't use chop sticks but I've got a round thing that the sticks slide into 😅works great I got big laughs from the restaurant people when I used them they never seen them before 😂 Aussie invention😊
Gee Jack I thought being Aussie you’d know drop bears are only in Australia🤣🤣🤣 How awesome would it be encountering a panda in Japan and a grizzly in Canada🙏🏻👌🏻🥰 That 1st temple was amazing and under the bloom of the cherry blossoms would be absolutely beautiful😍👌🏻 Haha they’re probably thinking you’re making a porn video and it’s starting out with a BBQ or a stove meal!!!🤣🤣 It’s a great van👌🏻 Japanese people are so nice too and how awesome are their bonsai❤️🩹

You need to do a series where you Van camp in each of the 47 prefectures of Japan. That would be an epic journey/adventure/life story.
Japan is stunning, and Mt Fuji wow. That van is so cool I love those walls.
Thank you for taking it on an amazing ride! See you soon again. 🎉
Was an amazing road trip thank you for the opportunity to see more of beautiful Japan 🙏😊

How tall are you Jack? I'm looking into van rentals but its hard to find measurements on the bed lengths
Our Hiace high-roof should be a great option!

Now im interested to camping all around japan with this camper van.
Hey thanks guys for the rental tip, I am actually planning one end of the year. Am keen to find out if its comfy for a family of 3?
You could definitely fit 3 people comfortably! Thanks for watching.
Canada is a great place to RV and stay at all national parks. If you do BC, it is good to drop down into Montana.
Love Japan...hate instagram....24 years being an Aussie traveller ,enjoy 👍🇦🇺🇯🇵
Thanks for sharing, that's a great trip. Do you need any charge for parking?
What an amazing adventure you 2 are having our daughter went and loved it there. Hopefully you will see Hiroshima😢
Lol.....Greg? Cool name Jack.
Love seeing the capybaras, always been one of my favourite animals. Terrific as always guys.
Hahah very random name I know 😂 such an interesting animal hey!!

That van was amazing, such a nice fit out. 500ah is overkill though haha. We only have 170ah in our coaster.
We keep checking for your next episode. We hope you guys are ok. Best wishes.
Thats nuts😂 love when you travel in a van ❤

Thanks for watching! It was at Izu Shaboten Zoo 🥰
Such a awesome ep guys
Thanks Craig!! Was an awesome experience we will never forget!
So guys does this mean you need to stay longer in Japan , good to see you back in a van ,
We wish mate!!! Would love to do the whole country hey!
When you went to the zoo I was expecting you to say Pandas or something. We have crappybarbaras up the road at the zoo. Haha. They’re pretty big!
Did you know that capybara are the largest living rodents in the world! Looks like your guys had a lot of fun in Japan.
No we didn’t that’s crazy!! Imagine seeing one running around and not knowing what it is!!! Would scare the crap out of you. 😂😂
Certainly not roughing it in Japan!
Very cool van and accommodation 👍
That van is insane guys!! Can you bring it back with you?? (For me!!)
I have a mate that planted a lot of bamboo at his place in Queensland and I am very worried about a Panda plague.
Has anyone with tattoos manage to do van life in Japan (using onsen) or did you have to improvise
You guys😂, always a laugh a minute.
Haha thanks so much for coming along 🙏😊👍
pretty well sorted Javan

You will need a international drivers license 👍 cost us $50 before we left AUS.
thank you good to know - thank you for making these great videos@@itsJackandMegan
Awesome vid
Its great, big like my friend
I love you guys😂
OMG you made me so nervous when you put the stove on the cardboard box
Hahaha I was so nervous too! I put way too much trust in things Jack says are fine 😅🫣😆
I should have noticed sooner, my eldest son is a leftie and just to be a bit different my husband is a rightie but plays sport leftie. LOL❤❤
What company did you hire the van from and how much was it?
Did you watch the video? We explained everything. It’s also all in the description 👍 we payed approximately $230 a night 👍

Classic how good you noticed that!! Yep both lefties. All through school writing was so annoying we would smudge all the ink 😂😂😂
I bought a commuter from Esperance College and converted it to a camper. Best car build ive ever done
Be careful with sticking your chopsticks in food. Its often seen as taboo in asian culture as its usually only done in funerals.
Oh thank you for letting us know! Will definitely remember that 🙏🏼
