With regards to Strandgut:
Strandgut means flotsam and jetsam - I translated it as such once then used just 'flotsam' for ease of reading. It's still both although I guess most people don't know or care for the difference hehe.
The word 'handgut' has caused me big problems (is it a 'real' word?). I figured it meant something along the lines of possible to claim or 'goods of the hands' (Strandgut = Beach property therefore Handgut = hand property, right?) Anyway, I'm not 100% sure and I don't know how to formulate that idea into good English anyway so for the most part I've put 'handgut' in. Who knows, maybe us English-y people may start using it ;)
If anyone can help me with the meaning of 'handgut' I will be very happy!
Wow, both Ich (is it Wietska?) and Mrs. Danvers (Susan, right?) were awesome in that scene! They gave me chills :D And that song is fun to sing . . .
I hope to see Susan in this year, again
I've got only one question: What is that moving next to the window. It seems like men but what are they doing? I think I missed something.

@Mylena1001 They're the shadows. I don't think they're so obvious in this recording but when I saw it in Hungary they were really creepy!

Die alte Choreo von Strandgut ist ja langweilig ... die der Stuttgarter Version macht viiieel mehr her =) ... die hat es zu meiner Lieblings-Ensemble-Nummer gemacht ^^
