This fictional portrait of Marilyn Monroe boldly reimagines the tumultuous private life of the Hollywood legend - and the price she paid for fame. - Розваги
Ana was either crying naked or dressed. She was crying the whole film.
They should have changed the title of the film to Crying because that's all she did throughout nearly every scene.
From being a child to not have your mother love you….and blame your for the reason her “tearful father” was never around….and was never going to be around…I would cry to….
No self respect at all, baring ur body for the entire world to c for a flopped movie
I cried the whole time I was watching the movie 😂
She is so good at acting but the movie really sucked
The director has no respect for the person. This says it all.
its an utter disrespect and disgrace to our marilyn
It's borderline character assassination. Awful movie.
Let me guess, your mother was a saint ?
It was weird the entire time I felt that one of them was actually gay
I read the whole plot of the book which the film adapts. Yes, they are actually a gay couple.
@@Mrchair-bk5ns 😳
@@Mrchair-bk5ns really? Aren't they brothers O.O
@@crownguard8936 Yeah. No, they are not! 😆How did you came up with that?
@@Mrchair-bk5ns bros looked identical I thought they were brothers too T_T
There never was a tearful father...😖😤😭
That scene broke my heart - especially the fact he included the letter with the baby tiger stuffed animal. 💔
@@elsimons882I cried at that part too. That was cruel.
so no one else recognizes the dirtbag on the left as riley biers from twilight: eclipse or am i the only one still holding onto solid memories of that trainwreck?
Xavier Samuels. You mean Brent from the Loved Ones! 😅 (Disclaimer I know they're the same actor it's a joke)
@@XxMCRroxnonstopxX i know his name, you can stop going into everyone’s comments trying to correct them now 😁
Yup I remembered foe the 1st time aussie hottie
@@caughtcrjfever2107 eclipse really did start a very short but very intense obsession w xavier💀😂
@@pixie9499 don't care about twilight but you gotta watch him in this Australian independent movie called "adoration". He's with Robin Wright, Naomi Scott. I was all of 14 suddenly wishing to be a 45 ye old Robin wright🙈🙈🙈
The main qualm I have with this movie is that it was marketed as a straightforward biopic. I don’t think enough people understood that it is based on a NOVEL. A work of FICTION by Joyce Carol Oates- who is a phenomenal writer (“Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been” is in my top 5 short stories), but in reading her other works I often question her taste level in regards to the subjects she covers. I don’t think this movie was in any way necessary. It only muddles Marilyn’s story amongst the general public, and it’s frustrating and insulting to fans who know the truth. Hollywood/entertainment should really let Marilyn rest for awhile.
The dude on the left is Xavier Samuel and the dude on the right is Evan Williams. Both of them are gorgeous asf 😍
And that’s when he decided to start messing with her emotions through letters…
This seemed like a pornography movie to me, all the time there were nude scenes, disgusting.
This actor it hot af I can’t 🫠🫠🫠
This is THE WORST movie of Marilyn ever. So much poor research, directing and screenwriting. It feels like a sneaky try to get away with yet another misogynistic exploitative movie for the sake of being misogynistic and exploitative. I cannot believe how many people had the audacity to approve this project.
comment below yours says “director is a genius.” 💀
It's based on a deliberately fictional novel. It's not supposed to be a biopic or documentary. Personally I think it's one of the coldest films I've ever seen, but that's probably because it's a cold book. It's also a bloody long one. Good for standing on to reach high shelves.
@@pixie9499 thank you for embarrassing yourself within my comment reply section x
@@pixie9499 also, whoever mentioned "genius" was sarcastic if you can't tell. Hope you have a good day x
@@dianagr4992 what was embarrassing about my comment? what’s embarrassing is your cracking facial skin, oozing lesions and lack of teeth. i can smell the narcotics cooking from here off of you. delusion isn’t a cute look. and it wasn’t a sarcastic comment, please stop trying to pretend you are all knowing. you’re embarrassing.
The two guy was totally made me creep and stopping in the middle like what the heck those scene got messy
Isn’t that Riley from Eclipse???
OK SO ITS NOT ONLY ME THAT SAW IT
Yes his name is Xavier Samuels. I saw him in the play the seagull and he was really good. He was so close because it was such a small room. Super cool.
Yes that's him
those guys looks really handsome
Gurl, touch some grass😐
@@llkjhv8250 you should
What happen in this scene i don't understand?
Gosh, I hated both of them
And the director for exploiting her like dat
Exactly, her boobs were just all over this movie
So glad I'm not the only one who hate these two characters
give her the oscar...........
“Marilyn Monroe” isn’t a phony name. She used her Mom’s maiden name.
Tila Tequila, blac China, Halsey, Lady Gaga
Now THOSE are “so totally phony”
Why are you putting down those women? Some of them made history like Halsey and Lady Gaga.
Not you trashing on Miss Lady Thee Queen Gaga
y'all really can not defend someone without putting other women down, can you? 🙄
Yeah but Lady Gaga is an obvious stage name that grows on you
Halsey is an anagram of Ashley, her first name. At least it has an explanation lol
The energy makes me so uncomfortable
she looks very pretty in Marilyn Monroe 's look
I really dont understand the hate this movie gets. It really showed how people treated her back in the days.
This movie was so weird. The only good thing were the few BnW shots
BnW?

Did not like this movie. This is humiliating
Absolutely awful imagination of a corrupt mind can write this kind of imaginary story of any legendary person. Because he knows whatever he will write he will be millionaire within a month. So this irritating story came like this 🤬👎
Netflix Doesn't Deserves Ana and Marilyn
Worst movie of all times regarding mm
why ?
*I didn't watch it yet*
No it's not....
So creepy how they babyfied her like she wasn’t a grown ass woman capable of forming complex sentences and articulating nuanced political and social arguments AT LENGTH. This “film” was just glorified kiddie porn. Utterly disgusting.
The movie was nasty and hard to watch…
Yeah! U can feel Monroe's painful life events 😢..it's so painful
He was cute but toxic
How was he toxic? (I’m not being condescending I’m genuinely curious)
They were both terrible
@@IHHA99999 I think he kept her at a distance emotionally even though he "loved" her and then he deceived her for years with the letters. Although to be fair I am referencing the character as adapted from a fictionalized novel.
@@synesthesia.aesthetic I don’t know about the other thing you mentioned but some people have hard time letting people love them that’s why they keep some people at a distance, that’s not toxic that’s just sad.
@Ian Firdaus I didn’t watch the movie I was just replying based on what she told me.
Love the acting. But I absolutely hate the writing.
Wait historically who is he?
He is supposed to be Charlie "Cass" Chaplin Jr., the elder son of Charlie Chaplin. And the other guy is Eddy Robinson Jr.
@@aditichatterjee3353 thank you so much! Now off to do some research
This movie was awful. Complete disappointment. Marylin deserved better.
Am I crazy or is that James from twilight?
I live this Movie, so emotional
Wait is it out yet? Also I'm the first to comment.
yes
Been out for a long time now
Since the 29th
Don't watch it, you are better off. Every Marilyn movie is way better than this one.
Who are they supposed to be??
partners in the act
I love marilyn monre and ITS BOT TWLIGHT DAYCARE!!! Who gives birth to themselves
Very, very cheap shot and disrespectful to have included this garbage in the movie.
That mole looks so fake
Marilyn’s was fake too
Cause it's fake duh
@@nancyjung4871 it's badly done i mean
It was fake that’s the whole point
but marylin mole wasn't real
Did one of these dudes play in twilight?
Yep! He was the one who says that Marilyn Monroe's name sounds fake
I haven't even watched this and I can already tell this is one of the worst movies Netflix has made. It probably makes Sierra Burgess look like a work of art by comparison.
She did not look like Marilyn. She looked beautiful but didn't capture MMs essence, she cried the whole damned fictional storyline
No you dont love her name because of you did you find it funny. The disrespect of these men
This was an amazing movie. Ana has some enemies but I see why....she is stunning.
That movie was baaaad. I knew it would be yet I still watched it. …..bad! 😅
They could have cast someone with Charlie Chaplin’s eyes
😘😘😘
So bad film
what a waste of a movie
So these guys were gay?
Irritating and disgusting...
What did you expect?
director is genius.
Is this sarcastic lol
@@aleguerrero8199 if you don't understand his vision its doesn't mean that film sucks
@@alinea8815 His whole “vision” was to exploit Marylin
@@shawncarter5434 if you would spand time for his filmography, you would know how he uses characters for ideas. "Ideal" Marelyn in man's eyes - something between wife and whore. The real beauty wasn't interesting for men around her, and its a tragic, how dishonorable and disgusting man acted with her. "Blonde" about it.
