!!That is some serious labor getting it all prepared for construction!!
Then theres the actual putting it together!!
.
I know the logistics of just moving around big beams is a lot.
We have a local person that made a covered bridge locally. and he purchased all the timbers from us. Other then 1x12s under the roofing. The smallest size is a 4x6.
.
And 2 beams at the extreme limit of are circular blade sawmill 8x12s 26 foot 8 inches.
Every thing was custom ordered full dimension.
What a cool build. Guess when it's my turn, I will have to assemble my west coast crew 🤣😉👍
Great teamwork! Hope Darrin @WW & Lovely L will upload some new content on his channel as well. Watching this whilst enjoying a sip of Captain 🙂(10PM in W-Europe haha).
Nice video.
Was a great day, really cool project with a bunch of great friends 🍻🍻
Glad you were able to make it over...good seeing ya and having your set of hands around so mine weren't needed as much! HA 🤣😆
Happy Memorial Day everyone Wow Dan that Was Some Project Great Helping Hands to everyone 👍
Everyone played their part, big or small and the results speak for themselves. I couldn’t be happier. Best of all no one got hurt which was honestly my biggest worry of all. I just want to thank everyone who was able to make it here and throw your hat in to help, I can’t thank you all enough especially Mr. @OutsidewithScheib who was my second pair of hands throughout this entire process, I couldn’t have done it without you buddy! More to come!
I can't wait to see the trusses and roof on!!! 🍻🍻
Thanks again for hosting a nice little working vacation. Can't wait to see how things progress and turn out!
They couldn't have possibly done it without you, Shifty! Good friends and counter weight are both hard to come by these days!👍💪👍💪
LOL...yes indeed they are. Not just anyone can add enough ballast to the back of a tractor and look as good doing it as I did!!🤣

That is an art. BEAUTIFUL
What a great project with a great bunch of woodhounds. I’d have loved to have been there to help. I can’t wait to see the finished project. Didn’t you mill poplar for the rafters? It seems I watched that in an earlier video.
hi there wish i had known ,i would have tried to make it , i would have taken your place , watch and point , i think they are only about less then 2 hours north . looks great , best to all ,john
I wasn't able to get your can through security at the airport or I would've given ya a call...hahaha
Great video Dan! What an awesome structure. The curve on the bottom of the braces is a nice touch. You know you’re gonna get some work done when Scheibs in the mix!💪🏻 Take care!👍🏻
The design and how it all turned out was awesome...and yes without Scheib we'd had been in trouble...lol
That's a great looking timber frame. All the work was precision and the joints are really tight. You did what I do best - stand back and watch.
Bill
Staying out of the way is a skill not many have...hahaha
Yes, Dan stand back, and Watch is the best. All Woodhounds coming together to help Build a Garage Dan. (You may correct me Dan if I was Wrong). What Prep. It took to do everything, and a Great Fit and Precision made. Stay safe all, stay Hrlydrated and see you all at the next Video my Friends. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Great work Guys!! Woodhounds coming together to help!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

Good seeing ya for a few seconds...even if ya were a bit blurry. 😆🍻
Looks awesome, will we see the finished product once the roof is on?
Yep, I believe Scheib will keep us posted on progress with the roof...I know the rafters still need more time to dry.
