Great job assembling the K24! I do have one concern, though. The wire is typically cut for a 0.039" wire. While using copper wire with an MLS gasket is fine since copper is more forgiving, stainless wire won't crush in the same way which can cause issues. Stainless wire is designed to be used with a copper head gasket, the stainless presses into the copper and then fits into a receiver groove cut into the head creating a consistent flat seal across the head, but you do not have the receiver grooves cut in the head and are using a MLS gasket. Since you're not running coolant, you might be okay but something to keep in mind if you notice it lifting/oil leaks. Good luck with the build, bro! Hope it all works out for you.
I was taught to file the wire ends at 45° instead of just butting them together flat. If you file the wire/o-rings at opposing 45° angles then they overlap one another slightly, creating a better seal and preventing combustion gasses from pushing past the rings since the ends are overlapping and aren't just butted up against one another.
Probably because of simplicity imo, hard to get anywhere close to a perfect 45 on 2 sides in the block. How do you guts get it that close? Put the wire in and cut it then take it out and file/grind the 45s?
I know Emilio has his own thing going now but it would be awesome to hire him part time and see him more on the channel. He was a big part of it for awhile and I feel him, you and Wyatt would make a great team. No hate on Wyatt I love Wyatt just feel like the channel is missing something and I believe that is Emilio. If you ever find a unfinished Porsche 917 race car kit and put a k series engine and no one else would have a 917 with a Honda swap in it ,the real 917 was a scary beast to drive to the extent that the shifter would not shift into certain gears when the chassis flexed.

My sleeved B18 has lived happily for 5 years, 10k miles, and 525whp with the copper ring and no groove in the head. But I am concerned for him with the stainless wire. Guess we'll see what happens!
