Piaggio X9 500 SL Short Review.

Pros; As a used bike they are fairly cheap. Although Piaggio are quite good at building scooters the brand name does not carry as much weight as say Suzuki. Electric stand is good. Cons; It is a it heavy. I have never heard an intercom / radio that these come with work, because the wires are always missing. Lots have body damage. The mirror mountings could be better. 7/10

Good little video .. im thinking of getting a big maxi scooter .. 400/500cc min ...I like the x9 as it's gilera and as you stated they do know about scooters etc I like the look of a tmax and ct650 BMW but for comfort and overall I think the x9 will take its just trying to find a good reliable one what hasn't had too much of a hard life , do you know if a engine rebuild is required after certain mileage or roughly how many miles are they good for ,?? Thank you.

I do like the tmax also I like the gilera Nexus 500 for looks but for comfort and running costs I think I'm going to keep my eyes out for piaggio x8-400 or a x9-500 but if a nice clean serviced silverwing was available that would also be in the running .. i need something what can handle a 60/70 mile round commute easily and comfortable but I want something i can have a bit of fun on with the mrs at weekends etc
