In this video, we are showing
1) The store room constructed from the construction and demolition waste which has the roof of MLP (Multi-layer package)
2) The models of community composting which include both vendor based and DIY models.
3) There two native cows which are the support system of ecosystem at the Kalika Kendra. With the dung of the cows, we prepare cow dung cakes and prepare slurry to use for the composters.
4) We have a beautiful community garden maintained by the staff, we grow fruits, vegetables using the compost produced by the composters.
5) Vermicomposting tanks another important method of comporting using the earthworms can be seen here.
SwachaGraha Kalika Kendra is well maintained by the SWMRT staff and support of the BBMP staff. Model like this is can also be seen in Siddpet, Telegana State.
