indeed so beautiful to see birds are free now and they can move anywhere. Such a great program to propagation of pheasant. thanks a lot for sharing with us.
I had a great time in 2024. Thanks for this program. This is my first year with a mutt lab that does ok flushing out birds. He’s better at finding them than I am at hitting them.
I cannot believe the dull and ignorant who gave this a thumbs down. These people are doing more good in a day than some on the left do in a lifetime. God Bless these people.
I didn’t give this a thumbs down but… you do realize what they are raising them for huh? Exactly what good do you think these ppl are doing aside from running an expensive real life Nintendo Duck Hunt?
Acreditacion of all pheasants I've raised pheasants for 45-plus years is death by predators coyotes eagles Hawks you name it most don't make it three or four days and these birds are being raised and release to be shot that's the reality my Verge on wildland we do our best to fight back for mother nature mother God but the facts are in a completely controlled environment with every amino acid and perfect conditions the ringneck pheasant lives less than three years that's just nature's code facts not feel good stuff are gorgeous beautiful birds some of mine are hand tamed and can be very loving friends and part of the family which most people would not comprehend 🤗
This is fantastic. I'll never forget when I raised 110 pheasant poults up outside of Boston and let them roam free. Such magical birds. Some were just like teenage brothers. 2014 was my summer of pheasants. I love the melanistic birds. Great little creatures.
Good job!! Sustainable development at its best!! Breed them,,raised them and released later..then ready for game hunting!!! Smart thinking not just relying on nature for them to breed then hunt without satisfaction.. the planner of this project is very good human!!💞
Great job guys, this was a very interesting video. Thanks for sharing. I just wish we could have been shown exactly what you guys feed them and how much of this and that.
The Game Commission does a great job at raising pheasants. They could do a better job in regards to how and where they release them. Somehow a lot of folks find out pretty much exactly where and when the birds are released and they crowd the release area and pretty much put the kibosh on any real sort of honest hunting experience. Also many of the release areas do not manage standing corn in those areas so that the birds can have a good escape and feed area available on into the end of the season. Corn rows should be at least 100’ wide and near to good brushy cover or tall dense grasses and remain in tact through the winter.

Shoot a clay one then. In the 1960's-70's there were wild pheasants in Central California. I haven't seen one for over 30 years since. They have all been hunted until they were no more. Some of the hunters just like to blow the feathers everywhere and never eat what they kill.
Congratulations on the great initiative. Great work. Preserving and respecting the naturera. I am from Brazil and I dream one day of developing this work with the Brazilian partridge (Rhynchotus rufescens). A big hug to everyone.
i never seen sick people in my life, truly there is something about your kind that just enjoys to take lives as a sport, it has always been like that since back in time.
@@@alfredangelici8294 may point is u still taking lives for sports, can't u just breed them without dreaming of killing them after for fun, that's my problem, taking a life for fun but not to sustain one, i guess history never changes but repeats itself. In Africa, hunters used to hunt to sustain life not to control any population, ARE U GOD??!!!
Guess you don't eat chicken or their eggs. Guess you like the fact that the egg layers are confined to a pen about just a little bigger than their biddies for their whole lives and once they slow down laying they are then thrown live into a kind of mulching machine, ya like that better hua.
Great job! If we all reared a 100 birds and released them imagine how our sport would prosper! Yes we need to follow the law but on private land we can make a huge difference . It’s not what you give but what happens if all give!
It would make a big difference to possums and raccoons, that's about it. If you want to do something for game birds, buy some land and plant it in native grass.
That's what the state game commissions do. The problem is that the birds don't survive raccoons and other predators. I tried it with 100+ one year and only one made it to winter up in outside of Boston. Lovely birds nevertheless.

Good day, nice video!!!
Very nice video. I love watching it which shows the different stages of the chicks from the eggs. Thank you for sharing.
What a smart sustainable project! I wish we could do this for all animals threatened by extinction . Well done folks.
Pheasant aren't endangered and aren't endogenous to the USA...
Far from being extinct, this is a put and take by hunters, most die before the season opens.
@@adammonks591 my comment is about animals threatened by extinction

Great project! I purchase a pheasant stamp yearly just to take my son’s dog out. Thank you for a good time!
You are giving them a good life, thank you. Great video!
Lol
Thor: Their real life lasts on average 6 weeks or less.

Such an awsome vedio on awsome birds
Video yang bagus dan menarik 👍👍
Frst i thought they are going to eat but went they released they thats the most heart thouching part ..very good job
and then they started to shoot them down XD that was cruel
@@JaySingh-sp1eb pretty much all of them died no matter what this is Pennsylvania it's not exactly proper habitat for these birds.
They all die by winter anyway
They get released for hunting 😂
None survive. NONE. They have no instincts. If a hunter doesn't get them a fox will...

Population has evolved beyond the belief that animals are gods. So now we treat them like the animals they are.
Those were quality birds for wildness. Do you know where those genetics came from? What hatchery I mean.

Nice job top two business but very Kat work
How far do they fly, once released? Do they remain in range for hunting
Yes, if you release them in a place with shelter and food (like a cornfield) they'll stick around there for a while.
