It honestly amazes me. This dude must’ve been tinkering with allllll kinds of gadgets when he was growing up. That’s my only guess to how you learn this skill.
I wish I could do this at our location. We are an authorized Apple repair shop and we are not allowed to replace capacitors or anything. We just replace the components in the device or the whole device if it is dead and unable to power on
You really should use that tray/mesh that comes with your ultrasonic cleaner, you do need that surface gap for optimal cleaning, and use a 130 kHz type not the regular 40 kHz for general cleaning. 130 is more suited for very sensitive electronics.
Oh absolutely. This is just so you can get stuff off of it. Once you've got waterdamage, you're sitting on a time bomb. So there's no point in soldering on a new capacitor, because you're not gonna use the phone afterwards. It's bound to break again later.
its distilled water so its good at cleaning up stuff and because its basically pure water its also not electric conductive so no short circuits can happen and to prevent corrosion because of the water its cleaned again with alcohol and then dried
@DaanZoomer2002 this is amazing stuff. I've never seen this before. I wish I could go to a actual class and learn this. I do smartphone repairs but nothing this in-depth. Awesome content man!
I worked in a handy shop 3 years and always heard from our technician or how u call it 😂 the Handy repair master maybe 😂😂 that phones who got dived into water aren't repairable even if it was short. But here I can see it works 😂😂 maybe they didn't had the knowledge u had 🤦 gj
Hello there I hope all well with u and yr family, can replace screen on note 4 my brother has alot photos and videos on it I have try replace with new Samsung battery but made no difference, he can start using it 😊, Sorry I suffer from dyslexia and learning difficulty it will be marvellous if you can fix this please
Easy to watch.. very hard to learn and master the skills.. 😢

It's not super difficult to learn just practice but the tools and parts get costly...
@@LeigonX do you know of any resource for beginners? I'm interested in learning these as a hobby.
Everything is easy with effort and the right tools.
Bro litterly made it back to life
Finally someone who know what he's doing. Most repair Shops just Replace the unit for a few Hunderts Dollars. Thank you!
Huge respect. Thank you for sharing.
Why the capacitors are here in the first place if you can remove them in the first place with no consequences ?
🤔
Decoupling. Look it up.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decoupling_capacitor
They are used to regulate voltage, you can genrally remove a few before you get any issues.
How much would it be to do this for a iPhone 13 that had the same problem?
im guessing around 100-300
3 grand mate
I subbed. Good stuff 👊❤️👊❤️
Thank you for the great explanation and step by step instructions 🎉 dope video
What is the cost for repair??
Far less than a new phone.😉

Nice content tho
How can i send u my phone that was damaged by water? How much do you charge?
C'est beaucoup de boulot. Je pense que tu récupères les données et tu achètes un nouveau téléphone.
Amazing work
will removing a capacitor affect phone’s work in any way?
Oh absolutely. This is just so you can get stuff off of it. Once you've got waterdamage, you're sitting on a time bomb. So there's no point in soldering on a new capacitor, because you're not gonna use the phone afterwards. It's bound to break again later.
Confused, how you throw it in water.. and it still works after?
its distilled water so its good at cleaning up stuff and because its basically pure water its also not electric conductive so no short circuits can happen and to prevent corrosion because of the water its cleaned again with alcohol and then dried

As you can ✨sea✨
Is the capacitor replaced?
I think not, for data recovery it’s just fine without it.
He said he would in video replacd it
Cause ya can ,,ur phone supaguru❤😂
I would sneeze and lose that tiny part.
Its broken anyway
u dont need all the capiciters because they basicaly use a ton of tiny ones to make one bigger one, so now its just missing 5% of its capacity
