All the pickups have been fine, but was definitely expecting more. I just don't see how we're an improved team though. Is a healthy Kepler better than a healthy Hayes? Idk. Really frustrated we lost Hoffman and baffled why Turnbull was just forgotten about. Offseason seems like a 0 net gain, at least atm.
let's hope Luzardo and Romano are upgrades...love Wilson and we'll see if Kepler can hit lefties. Probably they are looking at a platoons in left and center. The OF position that I wonder about is RF....can Castellano really hold down things in right field?
The Phillies keep giving away young talent for rent-a players..and the idea is so keep your acquired players and not tell the world you made a mistake..Well at least we can watch soft shoe Dombrowski kick more cans down the road…I’m sure the Angels are waiting for another young player package so the Phils can have Trout..
