Oh my dear Jaryd! Many of us got emotional when former contestants appeared and the cherry of the cake was seeing all the current contestants singing the epic "Poupee de cire, Poupee de son". Beautiful tribute!

A very touching national selection that hit many feels I didn't know existed! And it shows how welcome back Luxembourg are!

It was so sweet to see your reaction when the winners sang Jaryd.
Tu te reconaîtras is one of my top 3 ever.
I LOVE this 2024 entry from Luxembourg song! I sing a long every time I play it.
It is a strong year but GOOD LUCK and welcome back Luxemburg 🇱🇺!

It's grown on me so much since my first listen, but I can't ignore the dated elements of it. Regardless of whether they qualify or not, welcome back Luxembourg! 🇱🇺

I see you're as emotional as me 🥹
Next year, I want Monaco back to the contest.

It's a nice enough pop song but I don't think it's as powerful comeback for Luxembourg as it should be

Agreed. Unfortunately, a product of a previous time

This is absolutely a pretty decent entry, but there are some problems with. Firstly, the song is poorly produced. This song could have been so much more with better producers. Secondly, the verse, especially the start, is weak and uninteresting. Thirdly, her voice waivers unnecessarily in some more technically difficult parts. I think she could do better with proper voice coaching. The choreography and scenography: Ugh! If she can't dance, and sing at the same time (neither can I by the way, not separately and certainly not at the same time) she shouldn't surround herself with a lot of dancers where her own immobility sticks out like a sore thumb. The guy dancing around her in the beginning, with the face of a mime artist is awkward. I would get rid of all the dancers but maybe one or two, and replace them by a "story" playing out on large screens or something making the entry a bit more interesting. The clothes and makeup. I don't mind the style itself, but WHY here? Luxemburg, very welcome back, but things have happened in Eurovision since you last competed and I think it's time to step up! I totally agree that this is somewhat dated, but it doesn't have to be.
Btw, although I'm Swedish, Take me to your heaven is one of my least favorite winners ever. I'm not particularly fond of Fångad av en stormvind (Rome, 1991) either.

You've absolutely hit the nail on the head with this thorough comment. It is definitely dated. Like Austin Powers being woken in the 90s from his cryogenic sleep and still thinking it's the 60s. There are a lot of bits to pick at here, but I fear even a revamp can't help this at this stage, so it may just be a learning curve until next year. Annoyingly, this also ruins their "100% qualifying to the grand final" streak so quickly 😫
Even though I started watching in 2008, my mother found archival footage of me dancing to Take Me To Your Heaven in Scooby Doo pyjamas back in 1999 🫠
