@@crownember560 I have heard delkavic in person and it's definitely too loud for my taste
@@Kamdorian i greatly appreciated the input!
Did you have to remap the bike cause of the exhaust. Sometimes you change the exhaust and it pops so you have to remap
no didn't remap the bike, but I do have the booster plug installed. However, CS racing claims this exhaust does not require remapping or even any booster plug/ power commander because it comes with an actual muffler.
@@Kamdorian what's this booster plug you speak of? Thinking about getting this exhaust and want to make sure I get it set up right. I was worried about having to remap but if I don't have to that would be great.
@@ryanohara6550 so the booster plug improves throttle response and makes it less jerky and also reduces the harsh engine braking when you release the throttle. The cs racing exhaust comes with a muffler so they claim no remapping and no booster plug is actually needed but if you get the exhaust and add the booster plug it all works fine and you get the improved throttle from the plug. I got lucky and my bike came with both booster plug and the exhaust. Use promo code kamdorian when you checkout to get 5% discount on the exhaust. Wow ! Quite a unique exhaust compared to Arrow Rebel. TBR etc..
I need an aftermarket exhaust more for increasing the ground clearance ( than for the rumble ), but an Arrow costs $1000 here in India and more importantly, aftermarket exhausts are illegal here 😞, so the best exhaust for me is the Stock exhaust !!
oh wow I did not know aftermarket exhausts are illegal in India, why is that? I love the CS Racing exhaust note, I think it is similar to Arrow Rebel, I may get the Arrow Rebel exhaust one day just to change it up if I get bored of the current one. After market exhaust also reduces the weight of the bike because that stock exhaust is very heavy!
@@Kamdorian Not everyone in India are responsible when replacing with an aftermarket exhaust. Once the RTO aproves it, there would be no control over the specifications. That's the reality. As Satish Ji mentioned, the best option is to be happy with the stock one. 😁
@@Kamdorian Aftermarket exhausts are banned because of the increased noise pollution and also due to their possible non compliance with emission standards.. Look at how rhey’re removed and destroyed by Police:
ua-cam.com/video/us0kKRx_Qgo/v-deo.html
However, as @Dash mentioned, non-stock exhausts can get approved by agencies and sold as standard high performance accessories by the motorcycle manufacturers.. Unfortunately Kawasaki doesn’t offer any..
@@sathishrao7926 ahh so sad they are destroying the exhausts. I learned something new today, thanks guys!
@@Kamdorian Its Illegal Ofcourse but i am also from India and here everyone is Using aftermarket exhaust..though they are expensive.
Do u know if the bike had to b tuned cause of the upgrade on exhaust
My bike has the booster plug already so not sure how it would be without it. CS racing customer service is very fast so you could ask them if tune is needed but I don't think it is.

Yes you gain clearance since the exhaust and muffler sits closer to the engine compared to stock.

Do you use tank bags? I heard the matte black gets easily scratched up
Nope, no tank bags. My tank is ok so far has a few marks but nothing major and can only see marks at some angles. If it gets real bad I will probably just wrap it.
Lmaooo the seat cushion. I am looking at the same one too, before that seat gets replaced with a Corbin eventually.
For the exhaust I might compare it to the rebel arrow.
Great videos as always!
Thanks bud! Haha yea had to get the air hawk, stock seat is garbage. The seat cushion does look pretty bad in my opinion, I want a corbin or core seat too but so expensive 😭. Will probably be my last mod when I get tired of the cushion. Right now I am using the cushion on a mid reach seat and can ride for 1.5 hrs without soreness. I have an extended reach seat too so might try that with the cushion.
have you had anyone on the back? does the muffler release heat on their right foot?
Yes I had someone on the back and no there is no discomfort from heat. The exhaust is slightly lower than the passenger peg so it works fine.
Looks cool af too
I agree!!

Hey bro I put a cs racing exhaust on but the engine light stays on after taking it for a ride. Did you have issues with that
Na I never had that issue. My bike has a booster plug so that might help but you should contact cs racing they should be able to help. Maybe try riding the bike a little more it might go away on its own. Also make sure the O2 sensor is connected.
Yep screwed sensor in. Thanks I'll take it for another ride hopefully it will go off. Thanks I used the 5% discount that was on your page awesome big help. I love the new sound cheers.

Sound is still funny at idle and in the higher rpm's, but at least it looks good.
Haha I do wish it sounded more like a vtwin, that's my ideal sound but I think this exhaust is way way better than the sewing machine stock exhaust.
@@Kamdorian The problem started at Kawa. They gave this nice concept a wrong name. It is no Vulcan, not one screw has Vulcan dna. They took a Ninja and added forward controles. Check out the whole Vulcan line. 70's style "choppers" or V twin cruisers. 800, 900, 1500, 1600, 1700 and 2000cc Kawa can not longer continiue the V twin line in a lot country's because the stupid emission rules, so they named this model a Vulcan... a 2 inline, 200kg bike with scooter handlebars and sport rims and tire sizes.😨😨.
@@corneilcorneil yea I have ridden the real kawa Vulcan vtwins lol I agree they should have named this bike something else I guess they got lazy or like you said wanted to entice the old Vulcan fans. I will add a Harley or another vtwin to my garage one day!!
Hi there, do you by any chance know the DB level with the DB killer in it?
Hey sorry I don't know..I can try to take some measurements with db app on my phone but might not be too accurate. I feel the sound level doesn't change much with decibel killer but just the type of sound is different
By removing the DB killer, what changed in terms of the sound? Deeper? Higher? Thanks!
@@AKBiker82 I feel it's slightly deeper and louder without the db killer but I don't recall exactly. However thanks for reminding me of doing another video that shows more of the difference in sound with db levels measured. Will post that video soon!
Very nice video! Thank you!!
Thank you!!
It just such a strange sounding bike for the looks it’s going for I’d expect more of a bolt or sportster sound dang dope bike though regardless
thanks man yea it's a parallel twin engine derived from the Ninja engine so it sounds more like a sport bike compared to a cruiser. The bolt and sportster are vtwin engines so you get that signature harley type exhaust sound which I do love. That sound is impossible with the vulcan 650 engine. One day I'll have a vtwin in my collection as well!
@@Kamdorian I wouldn't say impossible. Arrow rebel exhaust with the dB killer removed comes close.
@@jayprichard2024 yea I'm more and more tempted to get an arrow rebel exhaust lol
I agree. The S sounds just silly and is the name Vulcan not worth. Nice concept, no Vulcan. Line all Vulcans up and you will see that the S has nothing to do with the VN family. The Bolt and Rebel sound much, much better. But NEVER expect a Sportster sound. That are V twins with long stroke and between 900 and 1200cc. No hance to come even near.

@@corneilcorneil I doubt that
I actually just bought one of these bikes and thought there was something wrong with the engine... After listening to this I'm thinking it's a Kawasaki 650 thing to rattle and tap.
Congrats on the bike! Yea it's very common for a lot of motorcycles, especially older ones. But it's all normal as long as all your fluids are good and clean. One thing that could cause more rattling and vibration is incorrect tire pressure so check that too! Do you have the stock exhaust? Good luck and ride safe!

"Best" aftermarket exhaust is the one that is not made for racing. If one is not "racing" then I would not think the CS Racing exhaust is worth the money spent on it. Then again, "Best" is subjective and only reflects one individuals opinion of a product. How much of a horsepower or torque gain did you get from changing the exhaust? If no change, then it is not much of a racing exhaust.
Lol interesting perspectives. The company that makes it is named "CS Racing". Not sure about hp gain but the weight difference between stock exhaust and this aftermarket exhaust is probably enough to reduce some time on 0-60mph runs. In my opinion it's the best exhaust because it's not too loud and still loud enough to sound like a beast. It also looks very nice and aggressive!
if you notice he labels all his mods as "best" regardless of trying anything else.
@@igaleib they are all the best mods in my opinion 😎
@@Kamdorian Aftermarket exhaust seems to always be lighter than stock for some reason.
@@PaulsMotoZen Yes for sure, especially the straight pipe arrow and two brothers exhausts because they don't have the muffler box. The CS racing exhaust has a muffler but it's smaller than stock and overall the exhaust is lighter than stock.

No matter what exaust I see on YT you can never get read of that hateful "breet breet" sound I really dont like. its the only think putting me off this bike
Yea it's not for everyone. I like it but not gonna lie, I like the sound of vtwin exhausts better. Just impossible to get that sound from this engine.
