The Callendar House | Falkirk | Scotland

Callendar House is a French-chateau styled ancestral home, set within the breath-taking Callendar Park covering over 170 acres with history dating back to the construction of the Antonine Wall in 142AD. Callendar House has played host to many great historical figures over the centuries, including Mary, Queen of Scots, Cromwell and Bonnie Prince Charlie. It's very well-maintained and FREE to enter, unless you want to dine in at its Tea Room, which you need to book in advance. Truly an amazing site to visit if you are in Falkirk.
