Best things 3 pretty much only things I use are malted barley red cornmeal and worm castings points if u take the time to do it right by making your own though it is a good 2 year process but we’ll worth it after that cover your container so it’s dark stays moist and roots will come up and feed easily off that stuff weed barrier works great cut to shape and it gives just enough breathing through it just lay that round or square piece on the top cut a slit and it goes right around the base of ur plant👍 happy growing

Red wigglers from bait shop is what I use in outdoor worm bed. My worm bed is just old bath tub sat high enough to put bucket under the drain. Got live slab wood covering it. To keep birds from stealing the vegetable and fruit table scraps. I do not use worm casting from outdoors indoors because pest.

I have numerous totes that are full of “old” soil. I just dump it in my raised Beds and flower pots.
I just amended it with compost, Mykos and castings.

I started a worm bin is a 5 gallon bucket setup. Just make sure that when you purchase the worms don't buy a whole lot because they will double their population every 60 to 90 days.

I have a question so I harvested Saturday and on Thursday the stems were still bending not snapping at all but the bud felt dry so I popped a bud off for a smoke test and it stayed lit sò I trimmed and jarred it up but my hygrometer is only reading 40% after 12 hours how are they over dried if the stems were still so wet? I'm not a newbie but I have never gotten the dry dialed in do to my space and climate.
Hopefully the humidity in the buds is still there…somewhere.
I do the same…when the buds feel dry on the outside, regardless of the stems or day count, trim and in the jars it goes! With normal house temps and humidity, 4 days is average in the winter, in the Northeast…abit longer in the humid summer. If I do questionable plants 🪲from outdoors in the fall, I’ll hang in the garage, away from any other grow going on…then it hangs longer…
If the humidity spikes in the jars, I dump it out for an hour or two…and burp a lot for the first 3 weeks, until I see it stabilize.
Tell that guy to chop em and then use a trim machine and get them trimmed and in the jars curing before he goes.
I’ll be sure to tell that guy.
@420scene those trimming machines actually work pretty good and they aren't very expensive.
How long would you say a compost tea would last during flower?
1 to 2 weeks depending on tea potency and plant container size.
