Nathan is seriously such a good addition to the group, love every episode he plays in. Perfect level of goofy. This was my favorite mix of pod to watch. Welcome back Tyler! Having Tyler back was so good, great personality that handles being arch enemy so calmly.
> Baldur's Gate ...rocked the house down. New subscriber also. I was able to finally build a second mono-white deck, finally finish one blue-red deck (and build a third, considering I don't like Izzet commanders), and get started on another mono-green. - Gisa, Glorious Resurrector ...is at least one ninth Baldur's Gate cards, with a couple reprints. It has won one game Cultist of the Absolute + Cackling Witch + Tainted Strike and another game with Rise of the Dark Realms. It has yet to raise any decayed stolen creatures, but it has exiled creatures with someone else's boardwipe. Dauthi Trapper and Blasting Station are pretty good cards in Gisa's 99. - Alora, Merry Thief//Tavern Brawler ...is what I was missing from Adeliz wizards, well suited for a cast-from-exile brew focused on adventure spells (including boosts from Lozhan, Lucky Clover, Passionate Archaeologist, and Nalfeshnee). Being able to repeat adventure spells and big large ETB's is glorious. - Lulu, Loyal Hollyphant//Veteran Soldier ...finally gives a second opportunity for mono-white, and a big 'ol spankin' new garage for vehicles. There's hidden flicker shenanigans, working for both vehicle ETB's and creature ETB's. Due to the sheer amount of vehicles, Oswald Fiddlebender and Board the Weatherlight should go back in, but I don't know what to kick, and I'm down to 33 or 34 lands, 3 of which are modal double-face spells. - Skanos Dragonheart//Acolyte of Bahamut ...is die-on-this-hill tribal, with dragons matter in both command zones. I'm going to try to get Jugan (the Rising Star), Kura (the Boundless Sky), and Old Gnawbone. Wish me luck. I'm using extra copies of some of the same tribal artifacts I'm using in my Nadier//Miara mono-black elves. ...Baldur's Gate also recently helped finish Farideh dice rolls and Varis dungeons, finishing what Forgotten Realms started.
Glad you liked the set so much! I had a ton of fun drafting it myself. I think I built a wyll deck out of it, but plan to do more with some backgrounds! The adventure deck you brewed sounds like a lot of fun!
Whoops, forgot Gluntch hug+slug+tax+stax with Magnetic Mine, Viridian Revel, Gaddock, Yasharn, Drannith, a couple archons, Novablast Wurm, and more. Blame Baldur's Gate.
